1/2GB MicroSD Card.

New, fast computer.

Black/White clothes (I have only a few D:)

Cake.

New shoes (Sports/Casual wear)

Yes, I purposely placed it here for you to have some ideas on what to buy for me if you love me. I shall talk about why I would like these few things, if you think it's boring, move on.

1/2GB Memory Card is because I only have 33mb space left to store my pictures/music/themes. And yes, its very hopeless. /heh If you buy for me I take up 1MB (or less) of my space and dedicate it to you, for sure. Aiya, 2MB la. Give you bonus.

I want new and fast computer! Even though others have stored so many things, their computer speed can be faster than mine and I only used 15GB out of 80GB. Pity me la, huh.

Others are self-explanatory, srsly. Aha, except for cake. I want cake, now. I don't care if I get fat or whatever %^&^&*, I want cake.

I'm going to have a new house which means new room which probably means new:

Curtains

Bed

Wardrobe

Shelves

Wall colour

People told me I should get either a Sky Blue, Green or Orange room. Veron gave me some colour combos. Bright Blue x Orange or Light Green x Blue. I think I'd go for Sky Blue x Orange. D: Help me choose.

By the way, you can 'tag' me by clicking comments in the far left.

<<<<<<<<<<<< To be very exact.

Byebye. I am bored.

Aerogarden Pro 200: I curr

Carl: thanks for the link to pageone - I'll have to check it out :)

Aerogarden Pro 200: I currently have 5 small plants in my tiny apartment...none of them of the edible variety though. This seems like a great way to enjoy organic vegetables all year. I'd be super excited to grow cherry tomatoes! I might try to grow them the old fashioned way first, but I really just don't know if I'd get the kind light that would produce vegetables...*shrug*

Lotus Sanitizing System: paranoid? Maybe. But I really do try to eat fruits and vegetables as much as possible...and it just makes sense to clean your food as best as you can. I try to buy organic, but it's not always feasible or practical, and the idea that this system can remove pesticides is exciting :) I'd also be thrilled to use it as a disinfecting spray! I openly admit that I go a little OCD crazy when it comes to cleaning. If I'm going to do it, I'm going to do it right - which means thoroughly 0:-) That I could do a good job without dousing my apartment with harsh chemicals is awesome.

1.DAYS IN SINTRA (2008, Paula Gaitan, Brazil, documentary, 90 min)

A. FILM WISH LIST

1.DAYS IN SINTRA (2008, Paula Gaitan, Brazil, documentary, 90 min)
http://tischfilmreview.com/?p=403

Filmmaker Paula Gaitán was married to Glauber Rocha (1938-1981), a key figure in the Brazilian Cinema Novo movement, which embodied politically engaged filmmaking that resisted colonialism in Latin America. Rocha's signature films include Barravento (1961), Black God, White Devil (1964), Land in Anguish (1967), and Antonio das Mortes (1969), all remarkably influential films at the time and overdue for revival today. In Days in Sintra, Gaitán creates a deeply moving meditation on memory and time as she chronicles her return from Brazil to Sintra, Portugal, where she lived in exile with her husband and their children before his untimely death. In the form of an experimental narrative, she deftly interweaves Super 8 home movie footage and photographs taken of Rocha in 1981 with beautifully composed, evocative contemporary images of the Portuguese landscape. In this manner, Gaitán both weaves together place, uniting past and present, and highlights remembrance. Long, silent passages are gently overlaid with Gaitán's own voice meditating on memory, loss, and death, as well as with recordings of Rocha's voice, articulating his philosophies of life, politics, and filmmaking. Days in Sintra represents Gaitán's own voyage of discovery, which allows her to bring alive the physical, sensual, and even spiritual essence of her long-deceased companion. On a deeper level, the filmmaker also captures the mournful, atmospheric ether of the Portuguese nation. The proud country that launched the voyages of discovery in the 15th century has found its global position diminished with time, just as Rocha's fiercely independent, awardwinning filmmaking had faded to a faint memory-until it was justly revived by his companion in this exquisite diary film.

2.FOREVER (2006, Heddy Honigmann, Netherlands, documentary)
William Johnson wrote about this film in FILM QUARTERLY, Spring 2008.

3.A HEBREW LESSON (2006, David Ofek, Israel, 123 min)

4.HELEN (2008, Joe Lawlor + Christine Molloy, UK/Ireland, 79 min)

A girl disappears in the woods. The police arrange a reconstruction of her last known sightings and an 18-year-old student, called Helen (Annie Townsend), is chosen to impersonate her. Shy and unobtrusive, she becomes intrigued by the personality and background of the victim, whose distraught parents emotionally adopt her.

Although this is a whodunit, the crime is never given a name. Helen's thoughts are used sparingly as a narrative voice-over. "I've always wondered what it feels like to have a home to go back to. I mean a proper home." She has lived the years of her remembered childhood in an orphanage and has never had a boyfriend, never been kissed.

As her character emerges through the alienation of other people's grief, it is possible to recognise its strength. Deprived and alone, she gains confidence through the persona of a lost teenager whom she has never met.

5.AN ISLAND CALLING (2008, Annie Goldson, Fiji, gay documentary, 75 min)

An Island Calling is a truly "post-colonial" tale that revolves around a brutal double murder of a gay male couple, one of who was a human rights worker, in Fiji in mid-2001. Through exploring the incident's context, this film reveals deep historical, social and political currents that circulate throughout the Pacific. However, the documentary is, as much, an intimate story of two very different families.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1172963/
"A drama based on the true story of a Palestinian widow who must defend her lemontree field when a new Israeli Defense Minister moves next to her and threatens to have her lemon grove torn down"

Eran Riklis directed THE SYRIAN BRIDE (2004, A+). Both films star Hiam Abbass, whom I like very much.

7.MAGNUS (2007, Kadri Kousaar, Estonia, 86 min)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0979917/

"Magnus is a sensitive boy from a family where no-one really cares about him. His parents consider that given food and shelter, their children will just grow up on their own. As a child Magnus suffers from a potentially fatal lung disease and he plays bizarre games to cheat death. Ten years later, modern medicine has cured the disease but Magnus' death wish continues. After his second attempt to take his own life his father's conscience finally awakens. He tries to convince his son to go on living by sharing his own unorthodox lifestyle. An uneasy and sometimes humorous relationship develops between Magnus and his father, leading to an unexpected conclusion"

9.SARI SOLDIERS (2008, Julie Bridgham, Nepal, documentary)
Acquarello wrote about this film here:
http://filmref.com/journal/archives/2008/06/sari_soldiers_2008.html

Back in 2001, Nepal hit the headlines after the royal family was massacred by the heir to the throne, Crown Prince Dependra, before he turned the gun on himself. With 10 members of the family dead, the crown fell to the sole remaining heir, Prince Gyanendra. But he didn't just inherit the throne - he also gained a five-year long Maoist insurgency. And as one of the film's contributors says: "Where there is rebellion there is bound to be sacrifice."
Gyanendra's response to the crisis was to crack down on civil liberties, declaring a state of emergency in 2005. Filmed across the resulting three-year period of unrest which shook the country, Julie Bridgham's admirably even-handed film looks at six women and their efforts to make a difference to the future of Nepal.

Devi's story is the most heartbreaking. After witnessing her niece being killed by the Royal Nepal Army, she chose to speak out. As a result, the soldiers came back to hunt her down and, finding her out, carted off her 15-year-old daughter instead. Her daughter became one of the thousands of 'disappeared' and Devi spent the next three years battling to find out what happened to her. She was helped in her struggle by Mandira - a human rights lawyer, also risking her life to speak out against atrocities being perpetrated in the name of law and order.

10.THING WITH NO NAME (2008, Sarah Friedland, USA/South Africa)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1243230/

"Thing With No Name, a feature-length documentary, provides an unprecedented, intimate glimpse into the traditional life of a rapidly changing culture. Set in Okhahlamba, South Africa, a stunning, mountainous Zulu area and UNESCO World Heritage Site, the story follows Danisile and Ntombeleni, two women with full-blown AIDS as they attempt to access recently introduced antiretroviral (ARV) treatment through the public sector. Danisile responds well to the medications, with the support of her family and her volunteer nurse. Ntombeleni does not respond as positively, experiencing the delirium and difficult side effects that are a strong source of controversy within the Zulu culture. The universal aspects of motherhood and the struggle to survive are explored through the womens' lives: Danisile's strained relationship with her teenage daughter, who secretly fears becoming one of South Africa's 1.2 million AIDS orphans, and the traditional Zulu ceremonies
that Ntombeleni's family holds to combat her illness in their own way. Illustrating the bittersweet reality of the situation, through both the miracle of survival and the tragedy of falling victim to an overwhelmed medical system, Thing With No Name reveals the private and public obstacles that have led to an out of control epidemic."

B.BOOK WISH LIST

1.FRAMES (2008, Loren D. Estleman)

I knew about this novel from Peter Nellhaus' blog:
http://www.coffeecoffeeandmorecoffee.com/archives/2008/06/frames.html

This is the synopsis from www.amazon.com

"Having appeared in 10 short stories in Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, self-described film detective Valentino, who works as a film archivist at U.C.L.A., makes his novel-length debut in the engaging first of a new series from Shamus-winner Estleman. Valentino stumbles on the find of a lifetime when he inspects the Oracle, a decaying 1920s movie theater he's considering purchasing. An abandoned storage room contains reels of film that may be the only surviving prints of Erich von Stroheim's legendary epic, Greed. The further discovery of a skeleton of unknown vintage in the old building complicates matters. Aided by academic colleagues, Valentino tries to eat his cake and have it, too, by cooperating with the police inquiry into what might be a case of foul play without revealing the existence of the film reels, which he fears might be damaged if seized as evidence. While the lighthearted tone is far removed from the gritty realism of the author's Amos
Walker series (American Detective, etc.), the versatile Estleman has crafted yet another intelligent page-turner."

The synopsis of this novel makes me think about

1.1 FLICKER
This is a great novel by Theodore Roszak about films.

1.2 MANO (2005, George Felner, Portugal, A+)
This film is about the preservation of classic films.
http://www.costacastelo.pt/mano/

C. ART EXHIBITION WISH LIST

David Claerbout's videos, especially BORDEUX PIECE (2004, 13-hour long)

This is what Christophe Gallois wrote about Claerbout's videos in Frieze magazine:
http://www.frieze.com/shows/review/david_claerbout/

"Taking as point of departure an intrigue of betrayal filmed in a modernist house, Bordeaux Piece (2004) first seems to be a conventionally looped short film. After a few sequences, however, the work slowly discloses its content. Though the narrative repeats itself again and again, each successive sequence occurs under a slightly different atmospheric light. Each shot was repeated about seventy times by the actors over the duration of a day, from sunrise to sunset, before being edited to compose a thirteen-hour long video. Slowly, the real subject matter becomes the changing light. The background comes to be the foreground while the plot of the film, its narrative and the characters, rapidly turn into a mere motif."

1.THE AUTOGRAPH (1984, Peter Lilienthal, 92 min)

A boxer and a musician arrive at a festival in a Latin American provincial town, where the festival is supposed to disguise the unrest there. The pair soon becomes involved in political and military intrigue. Adapted from a novel by Osvaldo Aorriano, cinematographed by Michael Ballhaus.

2.COLD AS ICE (1981, Carl Schenkel, 87 min)

A young "desperado" type takes on his foes in the Berlin punk scene kamikaze style.

3.DOCTOR FAUSTUS (1982, Franz Seitz, 137 min)

5.GERMANY CAN SOMETIMES BE VERY NICE (1981, Solveig Hoogesteijn, 90 min)

The development of a young woman who, as part of her revolt against her prosperous surroundings, rejects language as a means of communication; only a musician neighbor is able to interest her in life. Cinematographed by Joerg Schmidt-Reitwein. Eva Mattes co-stars.

6.LIGHTHOUSE OF CHAOS (1982, Wolf-Eckart Buehler + Manfred Blank, 118 min)

Acesse a página deste produto. E aqui você vê uma apresentação deste produto.

Outro produto é o Nivel Laser, que projeta horizontamente e verticalmente um feixe nivelado na parede, dispensando o uso de niveis tradicionais com aquela bolha de ar e alguma imprecisão.

Acesse a página deste produto. E aqui você vê uma apresentação deste produto.

O terceiro produto da linha é o Ranger, um medidor de distâncias a laser. Permite medir distâncias (m), calcular áreas (m²) e volumes (m³) e informar a temperatura do ambiente (°C).

Acesse a página deste produto. E aqui você vê uma apresentação deste produto.

Well, what a nice day so far! First off we went Baby shopping and finally gave in and bought our new pushchair. We've been very hesitant for the last 6 months looking at this pushchair and not wanting to get it as it is so expensive, but we need a smallish double and really wanted on which will go back to a single buggy when Jake stops using it.

We've had the Blue Camo Phil & Ted E3 Sport, we've got to wait 10days for it to come in so hopefully the baby will stay put until then! We finally made the decision and got it for two reasons 1) there are only 4 weeks left! 2) there was £150 off the price!

He's a picture:

There is a 'Wishlist' packet from rosie posie with some really cute address labels! I've wanted some for ages! Anothe 'wishlist' packet this time from Toni with the cutest pink decorated matchbox filled with really cute pink and yellow buttons - I love buttons! Also a really nice postcard for the 'share your world' swap from Sue a.k.a Reddirt Royal of Pilbara, Austrailia and it looks so nice there! I would love to go to Austrailia. Maybe one day!

This morning, after a desperately needed cup of cappuccino (dry, skim, with cinnamon) I somehow star

This morning, after a desperately needed cup of cappuccino (dry, skim, with cinnamon) I somehow started thinking about all of the little things I always mean to do.

Photos -- I want to put all of my "real" pictures into an album. I don't need it to be a fancy scrapbook, but I would at least like an actual album. I'd also like to scan all of the pictures that I don't have digital copies of. Never hurts to have back ups.

Recipes -- I have a TON of recipes... cookbooks, printed pages from the internet, pages torn from magazines... Ideally, I would LOVE to condense them all into a single notebook (or set of notebooks) with only the recipes I USE. I have a TON of cookbooks that have only one or two recipes in them I'd ever use. I'd love to organize them by food type or meal too.

Clothes -- I desperately need to go through my clothes and shoes, throw out the old stuff (or give it away) and really organize what's left.

House -- I really need to get down and dirty with the house cleaning sometime soon. It's high time for the full on, scrub with a toothbrush, all the nooks and crannies sort of cleaning. Plus, I'd really like to find a better way to organize some of our things. Our coffee table is forever becoming a pit of despair, and I would really like to figure out a way to still keep it as a sort of "catch-all" but perhaps with cute baskets or something to make it look more organized and purposeful?

So this got me thinking... Wouldn't it be cool if people would pay me to do this stuff for them? I mean, it wouldn't really get MY stuff done, but I think it would be awesome to do it for other people.

Okay, maybe not the house cleaning. I am pretty sure cleaning someone else's toilet would make me yack... but everything else might be pretty awesome. I wonder if that's the sort of job that you'd get sick of quickly? I think it might be prone to the same issues I had WAY BACK when I was designing web pages. I would work super hard on something, and then the person would want to change almost everything. Maybe I wasn't asking the right questions in the beginning, but I didn't take the criticism well. Hence the no longer doing it... plus, I am SO behind on the latest design programs that I wouldn't even know where to begin now.

Anyway... just a random thought of mine. I have little thoughts like these sometimes, and I usually let them pass right by. Sometimes, in the midst of them, I wonder if it's the sort of thing that someone else will think of in a month and get filthy rich doing. Doesn't seem likely, right?

Man, I'm on a roll lately! D'oh ho ho! Get it? Roll? Post about food? Ah, forget I ever said that.

Oh yeah, in a couple of weeks, it will be a year since I started this blog. Doesn't feel like it's been that long already. Maybe I'll do something special to commemorate the occasion.

Today, kids, I have for you the third installment of the Retro Wishlist! (Check out the first two here and here.) And as for the title of this post...well, that was just me being non sequitur. So no, Spock is not on the list. Also, I promise this post will be better than that movie.

This time, all the items on the list are foods I used to eat as a child that I miss and would like to eat again for old times' sake.

6. Nestle's Alpine White Bars

Oh man. Alpine White. I'm pretty sure that this candy bar is the one that ensured white chocolate would have a permanent place on American store shelves.

I couldn't find any pictures or anything, but here's a strange, somewhat cheesy, very 80s commercial:

I remember eating these things as early as three years old. They may be the reason I love almonds so much. When we went to the grocery store, I would usually come home with one of these things and it was a real treat.

Sadly, Nestle discontinued Alpine White sometime in either the late 80s or early 90s.

These days, I don't care for white chocolate anymore because it's too sweet and...fakey for me, but if Nestle brought back the Alpine White, I would definitely buy one once in a while just for the nostalgia value. Symphony bars are a good substitute though. It may not be quite the same thing, but it's creamy chocolate with almonds in it, and it's certainly better than that awful Hershey's Cookies and Cream bar. Ugh.

7. Hardee's Cinnamon n' Raisin Biscuits

Yes, Hardee's still exists, I know. But they don't exist in Oklahoma anymore, because Carl's Jr. took them all over about ten years ago. I'm 90% certain the Carl's Jr. restaurants don't carry the Cinnamon n' Raisin Biscuits anymore. (Though I may have to go find out pretty soon.)

I grew up in a small town where if some new establishment came in, it was a really big deal. So I actually have quite a few memories of when they built a Hardee's on the corner of Green and Washington. My memories of the event itself are fairly clear, but for some reason I'm not exactly sure what year it was. It's safe to say that it was either 1986 or 1987.

A few years after it opened, my mom got a job there making biscuits. Therefore, I actually spent a lot of time at Hardee's when I was a kid. That sound the ovens made when it was time to take things out is permanently etched into my memory-- it sounded like the first few notes of Beethoven's 5th.

One of my favorite things to get from the breakfast menu was the Cinnamon n' Raisin Biscuit.

I also couldn't find any pictures for this, or even a commercial about them, so here's another Hardee's commercial for some Disney plush toys, of which I had a few. Not sure where I got them from, seeing as how we definitely didn't have a Hardee's yet in 1985, but whatever.

Anyway, about the biscuits. I think I might try to make these things at home sometime because I remember them being really, really tasty, though I could do without the icing. This and the chicken biscuit were my favorites, since I didn't like sausage or ham or cheese or anything like that back then. (I almost added the chicken biscuit to this list, but you can get those at other places now.)

Another fun memory of these biscuits is that they sometimes gave you a toy with the purchase (probably for an extra dollar or something). I had a bunch of those California Raisin figurines they gave out, and my dad actually still has one of them to this day.

8. Pizza Hut's Pizza

Okay, I know, here's another one that still exists. However! Pizza Hut is not the same as it was when I was a kid. The last few times I've had it, it was vomit-inducingly awful. Even their logo is awful now. Maybe the pizza was always bad and I just didn't realize it, but I somehow doubt that America would have made it the most popular pizza chain if that was really the truth.

Have a warm and fuzzy commercial.

I had so many good experiences eating with my mom and dad at Pizza Hut. The atmosphere was always comfortable, with moody lighting and the occasional 80s/90s tune coming out of the jukebox. Oh, how I loved putting quarters in the jukebox. And I remember the pizza being tasty. Greasy, but tasty.

Honestly, I guess the thing I actually miss is the experience. At Pizza Hut, fun times were always to be had. They sometimes had cool toys too, like those Land Before Time hand puppets. And don't forget Book It! Read books, get pizza. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me. Oh yeah, and that huge Back to the Future II promotion they did. I had those "future" sunglasses, and being a very...imaginative kid, I thought I could see the future with them.

Nowadays, Pizza Hut isn't the warm, fuzzy family dining establishment it used to be. The marketing and commercials are insipid, the stores are getting shadier all the time, and they never seem to get any business. Maybe there's just no room in America for a good old-fashioned sit-down pizza joint anymore.

9. Kentucky Fried Chicken's Chicken Littles

Here's one I almost forgot to include. How could I do that? I was in love with these things when I was little!

And now, ridiculously cheesy 50s-ish commercial!

In my family, as with many other families, it was something of a tradition to go out to eat after church on Sunday. (Yes, I was raised in church. More about that in a future post.) There are two places I remember going to the most: Dairy Queen and Kentucky Fried Chicken. Before it was officially known as "KFC", we just called it "the chicken place".

Anyway, I didn't really like eating chicken off the bone at the time, so these were my favorite thing to get there. They weren't really anything spectactular-- just a chicken patty with mayo on a bun and sort of looked like those White Castle burgers. They didn't have cheese or pickles or anything else scary that I hated, so they were wonderful-- well, as wonderful as processed, mechanically separated "chicken" can be. Hell, for only 39 cents a piece, what do you want? My parents probably liked that price quite a bit.

Also, if I was good, I got to have a Little Bucket Parfait, which was really just graham cracker crumbs, chocolate pudding, and Cool Whip, but when you're five years old, you take delight in such simple things. When you're twenty-five years old, you look at it and say, "Meh, what chemicalicious over-processed junk." Or at least...I do.

I don't remember Chicken Littles being around for long. I think they were discontinued in the early 90s. They sorta-kinda brought them back in the form of the "Snacker", which I haven't tried yet.

KFC is another fun childhood experience that also got ruined somewhat. I hated the new logo and renovations they did in the 90s, and then I had a job there for about a week when I was a teenager and got fired because I didn't make it to the staff meeting at 8AM on my day off. I'm still kind of pissed off about that. But the KFC near here is newly remodeled and actually looks nice, so I don't mind giving them my business every once in a while. Maybe I'll go there and try the Snacker pretty soon.

Whew! I sure did eat a lot of fast food as a kid. A lot more than I do now, that's for sure.

There's a lot to like about Velorbis bikes--big wicker baskets, leather handgrips, saddle and strap-on toolkit, plus things like their partnership with Ikea (you can rent bikes with trailers at Danish stores), and making special post-box red bikes above) for employees at the Hillerød County Council in Denmark.

Velorbis bikes are available in the US from dutchbikes.us, a website that describes in frustrating detail the handcrafted pine boxes the bikes are shipped in, yet does not list prices. The Victoria Classic (my #1 best favorite) retails for £495 in the UK, a price that, unfortunately, does not phase me from wanting one.

Bothered ako lately (as usual).
Hindi ko alam kung natatae ako or naiihi. I can't even tell if i have to dump my thoughts of finding a male partner or patulan na lang ang mga stalkers kong bahog bilat. Hindi ko rin alam kung gusto kong kumain o hindi, matulog or gumala. I dunno whether to live or to die.

The last time I had this feeling was around a year ago.
Now, heto na naman sya. Parang cancer sa vas deferens na unti-unti kumakain sa aking daanan ng semilya. Nakakawalang gana. Nakakawalang libog. He he he

I still have to reach my dreams and reap the fruits of my labor.

When I reached 20, I had laid down a long term plan and ambition, a checklist na syang magiging gabay sa aking pagtanda. Yung tipong at age 21, I should have my own wheels, at 22 a half million peso savings! Pero kahit gulong man lang at pisong savings haaayyy ewan! Wala pa yata sa 10% ng goal ko ang aking na meet! But I guess hindi naman talaga sya feasible. Kaya naman this year I intentionally, internationally at personally rebuke the previous goals and face a new one further. Pero I will not disclose it in public. Keep ko na lang sa self ko para masaya! hahahah

Sa mga maagang bumati sa friendster, thank you very much. Thanks to Ate Honey for the gift too. ;) Sa mga may balak pang magbigay, salamat in advance pero practical po akong tao. Hindi lang po cards at greetings ang tinatanggap ko. Pwede rin po bigas yung isang sako! hehehehe

Hanggang sa muli :D

I have some seriously bland fence to cover and I love the idea of creeping things. Maybe trumpet vine? Or wisteria? Oooh or maybe hydrangea?

The back of the house was just painted a nice shade of yellow, so I need to figure out how to tie it in to the view from my livingroom. Stay tuned for a post on that. I'll need another vote from the peanut gallery on what color to paint my sorry-ass patio set. (Of course I'm already defaulting to chrome ;-) ) You have to remember how gloomy it is most of the time in my back yard!

Inspired by the other weekly events out there, I have decided to try my hand at creating one of my own! Now, if there's already one just like this "out there" in the blogosphere, please forgive me, as I didn't (and still don't) know it exists! But, going on my hunch (since I've not yet seen this kind of event) I'm going to cross my fingers and hope it's a novel (pardon the pun) idea! ;)

The idea is to share, every Friday, about books that you've recently discovered (never heard of before) that sound really good!

Every Friday, those who have blogs will write a post at their own blog, and then come back and leave others a link to follow on that week's "Friday Finds" post here at The Book Zone. For those who don't blog, you can just tell us about your "Friday Finds" in a comment on that week's post. :)

Let's try to keep this clean... that's all I ask, okay?

Okay! Then let's get to it! Share with us your recent "finds"! What books did you come across this week that you thought sounded really good?

A smaller button:

===========
PLEASE NOTE: This is an experiment of sorts, for me. If I don't get much response, after a week or two, I may just cancel this. OR, if I find that I can't keep up with coming to the blog every Friday to post that week's episode, then I may have to call it off. But, for now, let's just see how it goes, okay? :)
