An article on CNN Money summarizes the history behind the suit:

Qualcomm's licenses are core to a wireless standard called code division multiple access, or CDMA, and the company argues they are similarly central to the third-generation version called WCDMA. Qualcomm licenses out its patents to cellular handset makers and typically charges less than 5% of the price of the phone. It's an important business for the company, which counted on licensing and royalty fees for more than a third of its revenue in its last quarter. Nokia, however, argues that it has paid up for Qualcomm's older CDMA patents and that its newer WCDMA ones aren't vital enough to justify paying the same royalty rate. In addition, Nokia believes Qualcomm is breaking principals of fair business practices agreed upon by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute - which set the standards for WCDMA - by suing for better terms. Nokia already set an expectation for what it believes it owes Qualcomm. When the contract expired, Nokia offered to pay $20 million to cover that quarter, but Qualcomm declined. Since then, Nokia has set aside $20 million each quarter in an account. But based on Qualcomm's estimated impact from the loss of Nokia royalties this year, the money Nokia is setting aside represents 15% of what Qualcomm believes is actually owed. Qualcomm acknowledges that the older patents have been paid off. But it contends that its newer intellectual property portfolio is just as valuable, warranting the same licensing fees. As proof, 90 companies pay for the use of Qualcomm's WCDMA patents, and all of them pay the same rate as before. Qualcomm, meanwhile, believes Nokia's continued use of its intellectual property signals an automatic extension of their licensing agreement. Nokia, however, contends that the option had to be exercised with a written acknowledgment of the extension.

Salad Sauces: I practically don't know how to make a nice salad sauce. I guess the reason why I rarely eat salad is because I get tired too quickly of these pre-made sauces and also the classic olive oil and balsamic vinegar combination. So I'm hoping to make some new experiments with salad sauces.

Different ways of cooking fish: Fish is such a healthy alternative to meat or even a pasta menu. I only know how to grill salmon. This is a tricky one because it is very difficult to find fresh fish in Zurich, no matter what they tell you. Although we are just a few hours away from the ocean (south of France or even Italy or Germany) it is just not the same thing. Believe me, I know a fresh fish when I eat one. Zurich has a lake and with it, Fish. I have eaten lake fish before and it's not so bad... So I guess I'll give it a try and make an effort to learn new ways of cooking fish.

Cod Fish: This one deserves to be separate because there are so many different ways of cooking "bacalhau" and also it is very tasty when they have enough salt. I just recently found out a Portuguese store which sells frozen cod fish. This will obviously make my life easier because the cod fish I bought in Migros was simply horrible.

So here it is my small projects ahead to be accomplished.

Izzie's future bedroom or nursery is not our dream nursery. it's my sister and i's old bedroom, and i'm not converting it to izzie's bedroom. earlier today, we sweeped the floors, cleaned and wiped the walls and windows, and removed one bed and retained only 1. I began measuring the dresser and storage bins, and tried to figure out which goes to which side and corner. so far, i think i am able to execute my ideas on where to position the furnitures. tomorrow will be part 2, removing the unnecessary furnitures and moving the right furnitures.

I stick to few brands only. Is that makes me a dominated?

I have wish lists. These wish lists are not conflicting; in fact, I can apply a hierarchy to them and use one goal to lead to another.

My wish lists are as follow:

• Own more income; (nak hantar ayah, ibu naik haji/umrah)
• Own an apartment as my first asset
• Own a full furnished Ikea apartment
• Own more Apple gadget, more Ikea stuff, more jeans and skinny jeans and shirts and tote bag 5.Own more money to have more house, more Apple gadgets, pay off my Getz, travel all around the world and shop at every high fashion brands in Bloomingdales.

There you go. That’s a rough sketch of how I’m going to get to where I want to get. But whenever I lose focus, I can refer to this list and get motivated again. And I'm always motivated.

So I checked out their website maxiusbeauty the prices look ...okay. They seem very reasonably priced, on par or even cheaper than some other brands. They offer different package choices, the packages actually look cheaper than buying the individual flat iron.

Confession: I am a scaredy cat.  My husband can attest to this.  My biggest weakness is fear.  Combine that with my typical Taurean stubborness and aversion to change.  What do you get?  Let's just say I'm not exactly living my best life. 

I've already wasted many years living in fear.  It has held me back from exploring new things.  So I've made a resolve not to give in to it anymore.   It's time to seize the day!

I've come up with a list of things I want to try in this lifetime.  I narrowed it down to 10 things to make it more manageable.  Here it goes: 

1. Scuba dive.  I don't really swim, I wade.  When I tried snorkeling, I cried when my feet could no longer touch the ground.  I held on to my husband so tight because I was so scared (of sharks - in shallow water! - haha).
2. Carnival rides - I don't recall ever being on a roller coaster.  Sad isn't it?
3. Run a marathon - I don't run PERIOD.  So this is a stretch for me.
4. Climb a mountain - Again, I'm not very athletic so this is a challenge.
5. Feed the sharks (this might have to be at the bottom of the list) Swim with dolphins :)
6. Go camping - I'm not a nature person so this would be a big deal for me.  The closest I came to camping was when Pope John Paul II was here for World Youth Day.  We slept on the floor in Luneta Park.  That's about it.
7. Bungee jumping - I'm deathly afraid of heights. 
8. Travel the world - My dream is to go on a cooking vacation.
9. Learn a new language - Preferably French.  Everything they say sounds so romantic!
10. Go backpacking - Europe here I come!

I'm seizing the day from now on! :)

Initial D is a kind of racing games. Its type is arcade, so we can drift easily. I wish that I play this game with G25.

Soul Calibur IV is a action game. It has a lot of characters even yoda and darth vader. They fight with light saber.

Now he appears to be gone, replaced by Crap Q (this is one of those delightful moments when the literal title/expression is identical to the sarcastic joke I would have made describing it).

I have nothing against Crap Q, but Gross Q achieves the rarely seen fusion of two of my very favorite things: kitsch and anatomical models. *Sigh* Time to buy a Kewpie Doll and some paint, and get to work recreating this fleeting treasure.

Note: Strap-ya World is worth a look. I've never used a cell phone charm but it's incredible to see the vast array of miniature absurdities here.

Yesterday morning, I woke up to find in the fridge a special tipe of bread that I like, with a green post-it on it. It said: "bread for Moni," a note that my mother put, which stands for "don't you dare touch it, it's for her and her alone." So, my question is, how can I not LOVE LOVE LOVE being home, when I am treated as a queen and can order the menu I wish for?...................
