It all started back at 1993 when Memet started listening to that new sound that came out those days, after his first trip to london and to legendary clubs of that period he decided to focus on that new style of music. He visited London again and again collecting records and ideas for parties and clubs from that period. He has been spining in events and parties for over a decade on the island of Rhodes, Athens and around Greece. At the year 2000 he founded "The Mojo Bar", a small bar is dedicated to the underground dance music and its still the key venue for all the underground house heads on Rhodes island. From 2001 till 2006 he had organized some of the best day time beach parties that Rhodes island has ever seen. Katerina Papatheodorou´s musical soul was carved in Manchester's dark clubs and bars. While studying sociology and psychology, her student room was decorated with turntables, speakers and records, but her real love was in writting her own songs. Actually, Katerina lives in Rhodes (Greece) and spends most of the time in the recording studio.

Together with young new producers and DJs like for example Smilla, Christian Gimbel, Mihalis Safras and Boris Brechja, Sascha Barth is one of the new promising artists on "Harthouse". After one release on Monika Kruse's "Terminal M" Imprint and his debut with "Be Different Or Die" on Harthouse in 2007, followed up by "Whitsands" and "Das Dritte Auge", here is his second 4th EP titled 'Kolonien der Liebe' on Harthouse. His Sound is minimalistic yet forward pushing with a pintch of Funk. Para aquellos que pensaban que San Francisco se jactaba de ser la residencia de los mejores productores de minimal, Tech House asi como de tener a los dj's mas sobresalientes (VonStroke o Dj Sassmouth, entre otros) llega este año el nuevo album de Format B: un Duo aleman que no se preocupo por producir sino por desarrollar el mejor set posible dentro de la escena Tech House... ¿pretencioso? Sí... sin embargo, creo que lo han logrado. En gran medida, ésto fue posible por la minuciosa seleccion de tracks que darían vida a Steam Circuit.

Si eres de los que pensaron que Beats of San Francisco de Claude Von Stroke carecia de cualquier error denominandolo una pieza maestra del minimal techno, es necesario que escuches la propuesta de este duo aleman...

Hace un rato que no posteábamos (¿existe ese verbo?) algo de electrónica y creo yo que hemos regresado a esa senda de una manera triunfal al presentarles semejante discototote.

Deadbeat, quien nació con el nombre de Scott Montieth en un pequeño pueblo cerca de Toronto, se dio el gusto de largarse a Berlin para explotar sus características como DJ y productor. Lo ha logrado y de qué manera.

Roots & Wire es un disco que, producido con la estructura de un set, nos transporta de manera oscura, casi gótica y con diferentes ritmos que van desde el Dubstep hasta el Tribal (imagínense la combinación), a un mundo sofisticado de beats coherentes y muy avanzados.

Un disco tan bueno que, si eres DJ, lo puedes poner completo mientras decides ir a ligar al backstage, embriagarte sin límites y regresar a las tornamesas unos segundos antes de que termine para hacerte pasar como un heroe del Tech House. Eso si nadie en el club ha escuchado Roots & Wire anteriormente (aún así, los asistentes te felicitarían por tan impresionante selección).

El mejor disco de Tech House que hemos posteado (mismo verbo inexistente en diferente conjugación) así que...
