La música siempre ha jugado un papel muy importante en cualquier filme, en muchas ocasiones es la pieza clave que le da ese dramatismo a las escenas y logra que se conviertan en grandes clásicos. Qué sería de Tiburón sin esa angustiante y tensa tonada, qué sería de Star Wars sin ese tema de entrada, ambos hechos por el maestro John Williams.

Empecemos entonces con los temas que se han hecho para Batman y la mejor manera de iniciar es con el panzoncito de Adam West. La serie de TV Batman que se hizo en los 60s tenía como compañía esa tonada contagiosa y jazzy que seguro cuando eras niño tarareabas.

La serie tuvo su soundtrack desde luego y era un acetato muy de la época.

Algo un tanto más movido y más de mi agrado es la siguiente. Interpretado por The Jam

Claro que en su momento (los 60s) Batman era todo un éxito y tenía que adecuarse a la época. Incluso existió el Bati-baile o mejor conocido como el Batusi. Jajaja vean el video siguiente donde Batman da unas clases de baile, me mata de risa como se acerca a la barra haciendo unos sutiles movimientos llenos de ritmo, y como todo un Don Juan liga con la chica.

No cabe duda que Batman está lleno de ritmo. Aunque más bien parece que le estaba haciendo grueso a las drogas.

Y vaya que si le metía a las drogas. Jajajaja este me mata de risa

Abandonemos la década de los 60s y vayamos a 1989 cuando se estrenó Batman de Tim Burton. Desde luego ya estábamos en la época del CD y la portada era algo como esto.

El soundtrack fue hecho por el entonces Prince (ahora ignoro como se llame y si es él o ella). Les dejo lo que era el tema de entrada que es muy bueno y oscuro.

Y algo más movido era el tema Batdance de Prince, algo super bailado en los finales de 80s e inicios de los 90s

Para Batman Returns no hubo un gran cambio en cuanto al soundtrack y se mantuvo casi en la línea. Fue para Batman Forever donde la máquina mercadotécnica se puso en marcha y se creó un soundtrack más comercial, invitando a participar a bandas como U2, The Falming Lips, Massive Atack, The offspring y Seal.

Obviamente la rola de U2, "Hold me, thrill me, kiss me, kill me" fue de lo más sonado en ese año y se colocó en top 20 de billboard. Para que recuerden la rola y el video aquí se los dejo, en lo personal a mi me gusta mucho el video.

No de mi total agrado pero también fue de las rolas más sonadas ese año, Seal y "kiss from a rose"

La fórmula intentaron repetirla para el siguiente filme "Batman & Robin" pero a mi parecer no tuvo el mismo éxito (ni la terrible película ni el soundtrack). Participaron bandas como The Smashing Pumpkins, R.E.M. , Goo goo dolls y Underworld.

Se reinició la historia y se hizo un nuevo filme "Batman begins". Sí, otra vez a empezar y a ganar dinero con la taquilla. Sin embargo, para este filme no hubo un soundtrack de parte de bandas comerciales, y sólo fue banda sonora para animar el filme. Creo que fue una decisión acertada ya que de esa manera no le restaría importancia y atención a la reinvensión del caballero de la noche.

Si no prestaron atención a la música, les dejo algunos videos para que la recuerden. Ah y como nota cultural, los nombres de los tracks se refieren a variedades o tipos de murciélagos.

Como pueden apreciar la música es oscura, lo cual se agradece. Lo mismo continuó para el más reciente filme "Batman: The Dark Knight" que corre a cargo de Hans Zimmer y James Newton Howard.

Reading Buying In, I am reminded of the empowerment of the iPod. Rob Walker offers that the mp3 player is one of today’s great identity tools, and he quotes a Sussex Professor who explains “people define their own narrative through their music collection.”

Having been thinking about brands and individuality a bit lately, my next logical thought was about brand playlists. I found myself racing through a list of my favourite companies and thinking…

What would [insert brand here] have on their iPod?

It’s a fun exercise that I think I may spend some time with. For the first example I thought I’d stay on hype and look at the brand of the day. The Dark Knight opens today to oceans of positive noise. However, not being a huge Batman fan, I’d be hard pressed to do this musical dive justice. Luckily my friend Liam, of PopGunning fame, is a Batman super-nerd and ex-music-critic.

So I asked Liam if he’d play mix maker – tasking him with the question – if TDK was a person, what would his iPod look like? (Liam assures us TDK is male). Here’s what he assembled:

Some people might say this is a silly example because movies already have soundtracks. Well, yes, but brands aren’t who they say the are. They’re who we say they are. So big thanks to Liam for the bad-ass unofficial TDK soundtrack.

Commento & Voto : "Shell" e "Half pain" sono rispettivamente l'intro e l'outro dell'anime Giapponese Witch Hunter Robin, due canzoni J-POP (Dove la J sta per Japan) e J-Rock. "Shell" ha un bel giro di chitarra che accompagna la cantante (forse un po troppo nasale) per tutta la canzone, risulta comunque molto orecchiabile e più Occidente-Style. "Half Pain" invece è tipicamente Giapponese, e per questo motivo può risultare "ostica" a chi si appresta al primo ascolto. La voce della cantante è musicale ma anche qui troppo nasale (Difetto di tutti i cantanti orientali), e l'atmosfera è molto intima. Di solito li si ama o li si odia.

No sé si fue el mood, si es mi carácter, si soy muy simple, una combinación de lo anterior, o todo lo contrario, pero simplemente disfruté muchísimo esta película.

Lo admito, no es un MASTERPIECE, no soy fan de mandy moore, y sí, soy una romántica empedernida.

Yo me reía, chillaba y me emocionaba a cada cosa que pasaba. Creo que algo de lo que comí me hizo daño... jajajajajaja.

Es la historia clásica de la redención, cambio y evolución de un personaje -que parece no tener remedio-, gracias a un agente externo, que pese a que pareciera no poder influir en nada, termina volviéndose la razón para el cambio. Sí, suena muy familiar y lo hemos visto miles de veces.

La película se desarrolla en Carolina del Norte, en donde Landon Carter (West) es un chico con una familia disfuncional, es muy popular en la escuela y parece no importarle nada. Así, tras hacer una travesura (casi literal) es condicionado a hacer servicio comunitario y participar en la obra escolar. Ahí re-conoce a Jaimie (Moore), quien como buena hija de Reverendo es una niña ejemplar, con un amplio acervo cultural, bien portada, y -por supuesto- con pésimo gusto para la ropa (hago énfasis en esto, porque en todos los chick flicks e historias de este tipo, alguien tiene que ser el fachoso).

Así, estas dos almas conviven, hasta que surge entre ellos una relación llena de amor.

No contaré todo lo que pasa, porque -como siempre- rompería el encanto del filme.

Me gustó mucho, es de las películas que seguro veré una y ora vez, sobretodo en mis momentos de más profunda depresión...jajaja.

Súper linda para verse en pareja, un fin de semana, tomando chocolate caliente y con una cobijita.

Para aquellos que no soportan las historias de amor ligeras, las cursilerías, a Mandy Moore o cualquier situación similar, absténganse de ver la película.

Yo le doy 4 butaquitas, porque me mantuvo fervorosa en mi siento... y 1 palomita de maíz:

* por la canción de ONLY HOPE interpretada por mandy moore, que diré que es una balada muy exquisita

I am a long time member and am considering canceling my account for this reason. As a mother of two children, I am disappointed with the graphic advertisements on your website. I can't even watch the game trailers with my kids because the previews before them are sometimes horrifying (shutter for example). My children like to go on Gamefly and pick out their games, but this is not possible because the advertisement pictures have BLOOD and GRAPHIC IMAGES. After this month I will be canceling if this is not corrected.

Last night I knit a little over one pattern on "the scarf". I also spun a bit, but couldn't do it for long because I tensed up. I do that occasionally and I believe it's due to fatigue. I just stopped and knit some more. That's the joy of the 10 Minutes a Day. I feel like I've done what I set out to do and usually can get in about 15 or 20 minutes. Brilliant idea. At least, for me;-)

I spent last night early evening in the front trying to beat back nature again. We have some beautiful phlox. Ours are white and light lavender. They are heavenly scented and lovely to look at, but were obliterated by weeds, so I had to go out and do battle with the weeds (again). After about an hour (maybe 45 minutes), I beat it down and, after filling an entire trash can with weeds and green waste, got it under control. I read Norma and weep. Of course, I work 40+ hours per week and have outside obligations 2 times a week or so, but she has such a lovely garden, doesn't she?

Joan Jett is still the soundtrack of my life this morning. I hate myself for loving you.
