Just a couple of updates today - most importantly, we've added a "Photos" page, where you can view our Flickr photostream.  We'll be adding albums, pics and probably even video as we go along, from the wedding day, parties, the honeymoon and more.  So check back frequently to see what's new.

The owls are very skittish. I took this photo from about 100' away, which is why the resolution is poor. If you get much closer, they fly away. Notice the burrow beneath the rock in the lower left of the picture. That's where they nest. I'm always extremely careful not to disturb the next or the owls themselves. There aren't many of these guys left on the island. The good news is that conservation efforts are helping.

Step 2) On your psp scroll to settings and press ‘x’ on usb connection. (Your psp will now be connected to your computer)

Step 3) On your computer click start -> my computer, You should see a device called psp on this screen double click it.

Step 4) You are now inside the psp files & folders, you should see folders with names such as GAME, PHOTO & MUSIC, the folder we need for this guide is PHOTO. (If you dont have a PHOTO folder click file -> new -> folder and rename it PHOTO in capslocks.)

Step 5) Open up the PHOTO folder, now relocate your picture and Drag& Drop your pictures into this folder of the psp. Once it has finished copying over (usually less than 1 minute) Safely disconnect your psp.

Step 6) On your psp press ‘o’ and scroll to photo your new pictures will be there!

photos of the two cakes i got that day. serena's creativity with the agar agar amazes me entirely. i laughed as soon i saw what she stuck on top of the "cake". the cute elmo cake, i bet, was selected by mr. JK, only him would have elmo as the face of the cake.

yoga last night simply kills. i was having cold sweats through the class, cold, not hot tears you get from running or swimming. the stretching, and the impossible moves got my both shoulders aching like mad. the instructor tried to motivate the class by stating that this will help the ladies to reduce fats at the side. we were all giggling and trying to accomplish this move. for sure, before next week class starts i will do some proper stretching on my own first.

i think my friends are going on a badminton craze. dearest luqman was so excited about badminton that he ACTUALLY brought his own racket after knowing that we had space in studio to play. i admired him for his enthu-ness. haha!

yesterday night was the craziest bus ride home ever. i didnt sleep for a moment when i was on the bus, the bus driver was driving like a man desperately wanting to kill everyone in the bus. he actually drove so hard that my shuffle skipped a song automatically, twice. it was that scary. he almost drove the whole bus up to the curb. imagine the back wheels rode up the curb and down, the whole back of the bus jumped. thank goodness it didnt flipped, at the rate he was going. i could have sworn, my life was going to end with me paying 1.30$ for the terrifying bus ride.

so you think you can dance, season 3, is even much more exciting that the first two seasons. the first top 20 performances already got chills on me.

and i have been spending many many much. ok, shopping many many much.

i was mentioning the esprit jacket that all should get, well i got it. but it was because my leather jacket ran out of stock and this is too good to pass out. original price, 129$, and i purchased it at 39$.

can you say pretty pretty pretty shoes. hee. i'm ordering them in the beige colour. i'm scared that i will dirty them considering i'm so clumsy. rawr! but they are really very pretty.

week 7 coming up, i feel very disappointed with whatever i am doing with fnty's lesson. i am totally stuck, frustrated and lack lustered. at least for may's reconfiguration of memories i am able to change the idea and really like the second one much better. maybe i'm the kind of the person that will cannot decide on the idea until the very last minute, this is why fyp kinda scares me. the FINAL word always is the obstacle i need to get over. once it is final, i cant change it.

when week 7 comes and gone, i will be able to organize my night picnic. weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

i think the downside of being in an art school is that you are forced to think about art art art all the times, even after classes. i think sometimes we all need a breather and not "think" for a second. to just have fun and not let the frustration or obsession in your life to get in the way. to be able to laugh and smile for now is a great enjoyment. yesterday in class after michael lee's artist talk, someone mentioned that we were all thinking all the times. i beg to differ, when i get home, i turned on the tv and just tuned off. not thinking, not wanting to think. even if it is a sad moment and i cry, i dont feel that it is because i am thinking, it is because i was touched by the particular scene. my responses would usually be happening after the whole show. it's just nice to be not thinking. sometimes the brain does hurt when you think too much, aint it?

In recent months, I have noticed several online mentions of a new web-based application called Animoto.

Animoto, as described on their website (www.animoto.com), is "a web application that automatically generates professionally produced videos using their own patent-pending technology and high-end motion design. Each video is a fully customized orchestration of user-selected images and music. Produced on a widescreen format, Animoto videos have the visual energy of a music video and the emotional impact of a movie trailer."

To put it simply, it takes your photos and music to create a customized, one of kind, video for your viewing pleasure...and all of it, online (no need to take up more storage space on your computer)! :)

When your video is completed (note: rendering takes approximately 8-10 minutes per minute of video), they notify you via email. Once finished, you may do one or more of the following options:

• Download the movie file (MPG4) to your computer.
• Remix the Video.
• Send Videos to Friends via Email.
• Post or Embed Videos Online.
• Upload the file to Youtube.
• Place it on Facebook.
• Download it to your iPhone.
• Convert it into higher quality for a DVD.

There are three types of services (access plans) for Animoto:

1. FREE Plan - Simply sign-up to create 30 second videos.
2. Pay as You Go - This plan allows you to make videos longer than 30 seconds while paying per video ($3 per video).
3. Unlimited Access - This plan allows you to make and download as many videos as you would like for $30 per year.

Here is what I like about Animoto:

• Its Professional Quality (Excellent work!)
• Its User-Friendliness and Simplicity of Layout (I love the 1, 2, 3 steps.)
• Its Price (The access plans are reasonable)
• Its Web-based Production and Distribution Capabilities
• Its Interface with Other Web Services (e.g., Facebook, Flickr, etc.)
• Its Library of Music Available (...if you don't have music of your own.)
• Its Openness to Better the Product (Very Open Source...Write to them any suggestions you may have.)
