En aquestes gravacions evidentment podem veure el primer cantant del grup, Paul Dianno, que va ser peça clau en els dos primers discs, Iron Maiden i Killers, i que en directe tenia una força realment especial com podeu veure en aquesta gravació del tema que dóna nom al segon disc.

Malhauradament el carácter excessivament extrovertit i festiu de Dianno xocava amb l'absoluta professionalitat que Steve Harris volia a la seva formació, i els excessos amb les drogues, alcohol i altres vicis del cantant van portar Harris a acomiadar-lo el 1.982.

No es fácil encontrar buenas grabaciones de los primeros tiempos de los Maiden, por eso el grupo decidió editar un DVD llamado The Early Years, el año 2.004, en el que recogía varios conciertos de su primera época, desde 1.980 hasta 1.983

En estas grabaciones evidentemente podemos ver al primer cantante del grupo, Paul Dianno, quién fué pieza clave en los dos primeros discos, Iron Maiden y Killers, y que en directo tenía una fuerza realmente especial como podéis ver en esta grabación del tema que da nombre al segundo disco.

The titles of Earl or Duke of Bedford (named after Bedford, England) were created several times in the Peerage of England. The existence of this title has been doubted. It is discussed by R. H. C. Davis^[2] on the basis of the chronicle evidence.

In 1137 Stephen ordered Miles de Beauchamp, castellan of Bedford Castle, to give it up to Hugh. Miles resisted, and a siege followed. The castle was eventually taken; but Miles repossessed it in an attack.^[3]

Déjà parlons des photographes, cachés ( ou non ) dans tous les coins, ceux de Kera et de Reuters ont semble-t-il mitraillé l'évenement et nous offrent des photos d'une très belle qualité.

Beaucoup de lolitas présente bien sûr qui constituent un déflié avant l'heure, des coordintaions soignées, classiques ou originales, un régal pour les yeux.

De magnifiques " double twins " ou quadruplés, ça dépend des points de vue ( excusez cette marque humoristique douteuse ), arborant du Angelic Pretty. Différents styles se mélangent, des plus vieux aux plus jeunes, autant ne pas en perdre une miette .
Des sacs contenants des goodies, des flyers et autres petits papiers sympathiques pour faire un peu de pub ( comme s'il n'y en avait pas déjà assez ) ont été distribués.

A droite, collection Poodle de Angelic Pretty une fois de plus .

A l'intérieure, musique, écran géant, Marui assez présent, " kawaï " lancés à tout va, une ambiance très " convention " mais on commence à avoir l'habitude !

Le défilé commence donc avec Baby, The Star Shine Brights ainsi qu'Alice & the Pirates, la collection Poodles et Alice never Voyage's .

Comme d'habitude, rose et dentelle pour Baby et surtout la peluche lapin rose, " kawaï " ! Le nouveau motif d'Alice never Voyage's n'est pas déplaisant quoique les couleurs soient un peu triste pour du Baby . Durant le défilé d'Alice & the Pirates, Kamijo du groupe Versailles aurait fait une intrusion remarquée ( surtout par la gente féminine ). Puis le clou du spectacle, la magnifique cape noire imprimé dorée avec le logo assorti avec un haut de forme piqué de plume rouge !

Ensuite vient le tour d'Angelic Pretty et son " too much, kitsch mais classe " habituel de Maki et Asuka ( heureusement, pas de Milky Way en vue .. ), les motifs de Poodles, les noeuds de la Ribbon Star, et du rose bonbon, on ne s'en lasse pas et la dentelle est toujours admirable ! Cheveux roses, fleurs pour le publique, la magie d'Angelic Pretty fait toujours son effet sur les petites filles que nous sommes restées .

Puis ce fut Métamorphose, temps de fille qui opta pour une musique rock/ blues, refletant la plus grande maturité de ses modèles, sobres mais toujours très classe , un mixe entre le classique et le rock qui a fait son petit effet ! Des manteaux gris, des robes marrons et des bottes rouges, cela donne des coorinations soignées .

Le groupe de Visual Jealkb avec leurs " yaoi kiss " on une fois de plus enflammer la gente féminine. Ils ont joué trois de leurs chansons et " The Lolitas are head banginig " ... Et le phénomène para para fait encore des victimes vu que les mouvements du publiques étaient sans fautes et parfaitement synchro !

La performance des models du Kera Angel était moindre, certain vêtement tombaient mal, la présentation n'était pas exceptionnelle non plus .

Et nous en arrivons à Emily Temple Cute, une très belle préstation très '50-'60, kitsch à souhait mais toujours dans la sobriété du casual et un peu bo-bo, superbe . On y retrouve les dernières tendances comme les mailles, les caniches ( encore et toujours ! ), noeud éxagérés, cheveux frisés, chaussures dorées, couleurs chaud, leggings  ..

On peut aussi parler de Victorian Maiden qui a présenté des combinaisons pourpres, robes au motif de roses fanées. Un couple de sombre romantiques vêtus de haut de formes et chemises à jabots. La modèle à légèrement buté sur le chemin du retour et la suivante marchait étrangement avec ses bottines. La dernière création avait une magnifique traine de gaze et de plume noires !

Puis ce fut les créations d'ateliers BOZ, sans grands commentaires sauf l'apparation remarquée de Kanon Wakeshima à la fin, toujours éblouissante avec sont violoncelle et une très belle robe blanche agrémenté d'une couronne ( Hime lolita je vous l'avais dit )

Puis la musique change, punk/rock pour Hangry and Angry !

La perfomance de Jealkb fut rattrapper par celle de Plastic Tree, sans comparaison mais cela ne dura qu'une vingtaine de minutes .

Ensuite, KERA Arena, Hiderock, Hypercore, Superlover's, OzzCcroce et Qutie Fresh.

Alors, h.Naoto et son magnifique ensemble chemise à jabot (!) montre une fois de plus sa maitrise des vêtemnts "Goth" .

Sexy Dynamite London avec écharpe longue, plaid et tartan, parfaitement dans la mode de la rentrée .

Puis la fin d'un défilé définitivement attendu et apprécié.

PS: Un nouvel animé a été présenté durant ce défilé, Kuroshitsuji ( Black Butler ), il va falloir attendre un peu mais déjà, le manga de Yana Toboso est très bien mais l'adaptation au Japon n'arrive qu'en octobre, autant dire que pour la France .. N'en parlons même pas ..  * * *

Notons aussi la présence de Nheira, le mangaka en vogue.

"fearless Wretch/insanity/it watches/lurking beneath the sea/great Old One/forbidden site/it searches/Huntress of the Shadows is rising/immortal/in madness You dwell" - Είναι προφανές ότι πρόκειται για μια απο Εκείνες που απολαμβάνει το Αυγουστιάτικο της μπάνιο, δηλαδή ο απόλυτος τρόμος. Δεν είναι τυχαίο ότι μετά από αυτό το άλμπουμ, το συγκρότημα κυκλοφόρησε τη μία πατάτα πίσω από την άλλη.

"See the look of evil in your eyes/Women filling me all full of lies/Sorrow will not change your shameful deals/You will pass someone else instead of me" - Black Sabbath, Evil Woman. Νομίζω ότι ο τίτλος τα λέει όλα.

Καμουφλαρισμένο, αλλά με σαφείς αναφορές σε μαυροφορεμένες κυρίες και το "The Lady Wore Black" (Η κυρία φορούσε μαύρα) των Σηατλέζων Queensryche. Οι στίχοι μιλούν από μόνοι τους για τη φρίκη της συναναστροφής με μαυροφορεμένες γυναίκες: "The wind song whispered a warning/Telling me to beware/Of the quiet shadowed woman/And of the sadness I would share" "I should have listened to the winds cold warning/And walked the other way/I touched her soul and now I bear her sentence/But for her love Ill gladly pay"

Quando si parla di Iron Maiden bisogna dapprima piantare dei paletti, delle fondamenta, dei punti di riferimento che inquadrino la scena del momento. Siamo nel 1981 e gli Iron Maiden sono al secondo album, dopo il primo album omonimo che riscosse un grandioso successo. Quest'album sarà l'ultimo del grande Paul Di Anno, ma il primo per Adrian Smith. Con la copertina di Derek Riggs, sotto la guida del solito Steve Harris, gli Iron confermano il loro stile. Quest'album non avrà "l'enorme" successo del primo, ma lo considero il migliore di tutti (per quanto sia possibile effettuarne il paragone).

1- The Ides Of March
Indice di amore eterno per le chitarre, questo brano apre l'album con armonizzazioni e assoli, come a dire "Ben ritrovati, siamo sempre noi: gli Iron Maiden!". Un pezzo di un minuto e 45 circa che esalta la vena heavy metal anni 80 della band e le sensazioni mal celate di un epico classico.

2- Wrathchild
Brano che parla di un giovane e triste rampollo di una famiglia nobile che vive con rabbia la sua vita, non avendo mai conosciuto suo padre [fonte wikipedia], è un esaltante e divertente brano, senza molte variazioni e molto spensierata nel sound e nello svolgimento. Non il massimo per aprire un album, ma gli Iron Maiden sanno che come seconda traccia, dopo "The Ides of March" andava messa una canzone "alla Iron". E così i fans non rimasero delusi

3- Murders In The Rue Morgue
Si basa su un'omonima novella dello scrittore Edgar Allan Poe, che tratta di un fuggitivo ricercato ingiustamente per il cruento omicidio di una ragazza e di sua madre [fonte Wikipedia]. Effettivamente si tratta di un brano più saltante, con stoppati e riff tipici delle sonorità della band. Bello il ritornello cantato all'unisono con la chitarra e belli i cambi di stile.

4- Another Life
L'inizio esaltante, anticipato da una batteria e da una chitarra grezza, è davvero emozionante: un tap veloce e semplice, una introduzione alla strofa, ed eccovi un bel cocktail by Iron Maiden. Cavalcante a tratti, esaltante nell'assolo che assume una velocità di gran lunga distaccata rispetto alle tempistiche che la canzone aveva assunto fino a quel momento. Sbalorditivo Steve Harris, che si diverte con le sue quattro corde.

5- Gengis Khan
La strumentale dell'album (un topic direi ormai degli Iron Maiden, dopo Transylvania nell'album precedente), pur avendo originariamente un testo, viene preferita così. E non gli darei tutti i torti. Cambi di tempo, chitarre armonizzate, riff accattivanti, la vena epica immortale, giri di note che solo gli iron sanno fare sulla stessa base. Grandioso il cambiamento a 1°45' circa dall'inizio: un tipico esercizio da chitarra. ESEMPLARE. E poi vai con accenni di assolo, con eco e armonizzazioni. Bellissima.

6- Innocent Exile
Un inizio un pò difficile da accogliere benevolmente ad un primo ascolto, questo brano richiama un genere un pò più rock'n'roll, o forse, per correggermi, un pò più metal anni '70, qualcosa di già fatto, seguendo un cambio di accordi quasi banale assieme ad una voce che non sa creare davvero molto sulla linea vocale. Un assolo sporco, blueseggiato, semplice e breve, prima della variazione del cantato. Mica tanto...
Un brano mediocre, a detta di un fan sfegatato della band. Ah, ma... ecco.. si: c'è un assolo che salva tutto! Briosità, velocità, innovazione, sound, scale! Fiù, si è salvato il brano. Non che cerchi necessariamente un assolo in una canzone, ma ci voleva qualcosa di innovativo a distaccarsi da quelle sonorità molto Led Zeppelin che spuntano come funghi per tutta la canzone.

7- Killers
Inizio a cardiopalma. Semplice. D'impatto. Già "Killers" parte nei migliori dei modi. Poi un accenno di partenza, una finta, poi l'arrivo delle chitarre, la loro presentazione, la loro introduzione, scale di note a calare, riff armonizzato e uno stoppato cavalcato per la strofa: eccovi il primo minuto e mezzo della canzone. Sensazionale brano, innovativo. Quì gli Iron Maiden trionfano, tranne che per l'ovvio testo: un assassino che uccide la sua vittima. Musicalmente un capolavoro degli Iron.

8- Prodigal Son
Quasi una ballata, quasi una canzone col cuore, una di quelle canzoni che non hanno dato fama agli Iron Maiden, ma una grande canzone. Giro di basso colorito, cambio di accordi divertente, una linea vocale da pelle d'oca a mio parere e, soprattutto, uno dei più bei assoli che abbia mai ascoltato. Davvero trionfale, emozionante, sentito nel senso inglese del termine feelin'. Un brano da avere sicuramente tra i preferiti. Raccomando, nuovamente, l'ascolto dell'assolo!

9- Purgatory
Inizio niente male per un'armonizzazione abbastanza ovvia della band. Una linea vocale un pò poco libera. Esaltante alla Iron Maiden, ma non di enorme impatto. Bello il ritornello, voce e chitarra, su una base che si distacca dalla strofa. Bello il cambiamento nella seconda parte della canzone, con chitarra e voce che sembrano quasi dialogare

10- Drifter
Un brano Iron Maiden, con il basso che si diverte alquanto, il solito Harris, che danno, ahimè, un impronta un pò troppo allegra ad una canzone che in realtà non lo è. Brano tipico, dunque, senza molta innovazione. Ma è questo ciò che un fan cerca da questa band. Bello il cambiamento di tempo su uno pseudo-assolo accompagnato dalla voce ululante. L'ultimo ululo di Paul Di Anno. Carina la scala in ascesa per ritornare a quello che era il quadro della canzone all'inizio.

Hillary made Bill...that's a given.  To hear Michelle speak the other night, we know who's made Obama.  Mothers and wives.  To spurn off into indigenous culture, Creator gave the land to the women to steward...it was never to be 'sold', or to be polluted and exploited and raped like it has been.

Cracking the glass ceiling ....ya.  

While Hillary and Michelle are at opposing ends of the Democratic scale, you have to hand it to both to Mother Michelle and Crone Hillary.  Two dynamic women who, perhaps should have the ticket of Prez and Vice-Prez...imagine that duo.  

And who did MSM bury in their coverage of the convention?  In paradoxical light, Dennis Kucinich is the only person throughout Bush's long eight years in office to bring war crimes to the front.

No se porque razón hoy me levanto, enciendo el ordenador, y me he puesto a escuchar heavy metal, precisamente Manowar. A recordar viejos tiempos XD. Y me he acordado de cuando hará unos 6 años empecé a escuchar a los magnificos Iron Maiden. Que tiempos aquellos, camisetas oscuras con las portadas de sus discos, pulseras de pinchos y en el mp3 sonaba constantemente canciones como "Run to the hills", "The tropper", "Fuel", "Warriors of the world" o "I want out" entre otras. Ya no quedan grupos que hagan heavy del bueno. La doncella de hierro fue el grupo que me abrió las puertas al mundo de la música. Me acuerdo que fui a la tienda Tipo (la única tienda que había en este pueblo en la que podías comprar buenos cd's) y me compré mi primer disco de Maiden, precisamente el "Brave new world", el disco que supuso la vuelta de Dickinson y Smith al grupo. Después de comprarlo me fuí a mi casa, y nada mas entrar por la puerta, puse el cd en la minicadena. Al cabo de una hora ya estaba en la tienda comprándome otros dos discos: "Powerslave" y "The number of the beast". Y justo en ese momento empezó mi aventura en el heavy metal.

Despues conocí grupos como Black Sabath, Metallica, Deep Purple, Helloween, Manowar, Led Zeppelin... ¿Quién no ha escuchado nunca canciones como "Stairway to heaven" o "Nothing else matters"?. O la magnífica "Smoke on the watter". Que gran canción esa, fué la primera que aprendí a tocar con la guitarra... Y bueno, tras ponerme en plan "abueletes sentados en un banco viendo la vida pasar y recordando viejos tiempos", he acabado aquí. Escuchando rock progresivo y amando todo grupo que sea anterior al año 1980.

Y puesto que he escuchado de todo, empezando por el pop y pasando por heavy metal (y todas sus variantes), punk, oi, ska, blues, reggae, jazz, rock, rock instrumental, rock nacional y música clásica hasta llegar al rock progresivo de Pink Floyd, puedo asegurar que para mi el mejor grupo de toda la historia ha sido Pink Floyd; y que mi guitarrista preferido es David Gilmour, aunque Jimi también ha influido lo suyo.

Y se me fue la pinza.

Oh, this is a hot-button for me. Do NOT call me Mrs. Anyone for any reason. Ever! I'd rather be called bitch or ho than Mrs. Just do NOT do it.

Setting aside the issue of whether or not you trade one man's (owner's?) name (your father or perhaps your mother's father) for another man's (owner's?) name (your husband's), the 'title' in of itself is problematic. Why, you ask? Oh, I was hoping you would.

Mr., Miss, or Mrs. are honorifics. An honorific is defined by Dictionary.com as "4.a title or term of respect." Let's use Mister as an example. Dictionary.com says "… a conventional title of respect for a man, prefixed to the name and to certain official designations …" Ok, so we've established that Mr. (and Mrs. and Miss) are honorifics.

A title or term of respect is used to denote a person's value or worth in a society. In aristocracies (defined same place as "any class or group considered to be superior, as through education, ability, wealth, or social prestige"), certain people had more presumed value in society than others (i.e., "considered to be superior"). Well, the founding parents (no, I will not say "founding fathers"...ugh!) of the US had professed to value equality, so they made everyone a Mr. That equality didn't extend to women or men of color, you notice. The US Constitution valued a black male as worth 3/5 of a white male (or some such silly number). Oh, and women? Regardless of ethnicity, the oh-so-"wise" ruling class made them wait some, what...60 years? after black men to have the right to vote. Oh, and please note: Black men got the vote immediately upon emancipation from slavery. So, the oh-so-"wise" ruling class gave men who had been property just a year or two earlier the right to vote before they allowed their own mothers, sisters, and wives the same right. Don't misunderstand: I'm not saying black men should not have been emancipated (well, duh!) or that they should not have been allowed to vote. I'm just pointing out that the ruling class felt that men who they had bought and sold just years earlier were more qualified to vote than their mothers. Oh, and yes, I know the North emancipated the slaves before the South did. The point still stands.

So, back to honorifics. One's title is a sign of one's value in society. A man becomes Mister as soon as he becomes an adult. This does not change. Once a Mister always a Mister it seems. What about a woman? Well, she is a "Miss" as long as she bears her father's name. Rephrased, as long as she has her "maiden" name (and that's a topic for another post!), she is "Miss." As soon as she marries, she becomes "Missus." The man's honorific remains the same regardless of marital status. The woman's changes when her marital status changes.

Huh????? What???? So, what does that mean? A man's value is unrelated to his married state. A woman's honorific (which signifies her value in the culture) changes with her marital state? What the fuck? Are you kidding me?

No way, buster! No way in hell! Not me! Do NOT call me Mrs, Missus, Miss, or anything but Ms. If you can't handle Ms., Dr. or Professor works just fine. But take your Mrs. and put it where the sun don't shine, thank you very much.

Ce sont des marques, le plus souvent japonaises mais parfois basées aux US ou en Europe, qui proposent leurs créations à des prix souvent plus bas à cause du fait qu'elles sont peu connues ( ou pas autant que BTSSB, AP ou Méta ). Parfois, tout n'est pas spécialement lolita et il faut faire le tri pour être sûr de la qualité mais au moins, les prix sont raisonnables.

Ces sont des petites boutiques crées sur des sites spéciaux comme Etsy, Dawanda ( et oui j'adore ! ), ou utilisant Myspace. Ainsi, les accessoires vendus dans ces boutiques sont "handmade", "fait main", originaux et à des prix raisonables. Bien sûr, certaines diront " mais moi, je ne porte que de la marque ... " pourtant certaines de ces créations valent vraiment le coup d'oeil ...

Beaucoup de gens boutiques en ligne se sont lancées dans l'import, faisant venir des objets que nous ne pourrions trouver en France. De l'accessoire " Kawaï " au sachet de nouilles instantanées en passant par les loose socks ou les sucreries, il y a du choix pour notre plus grand plaisir !

Bien sûr, il faut faire le tri dans ces boutiques car "lolita" est bien souvent associé à "Kawaï" ou à un "Hello Kitty" et bien d'autres produits Sanrio, mais lolita ne veutpas non plus dire "marque" ou "cher", cela reste un façon de penser.

Essa Figure é um dos meus sonhos de consumo, pena que nunca a encontrei à venda em lugar algum. Todas as imagens encontradas nessa review são fornecidas por Foobarbaz.

Suiseiseki é uma das Ball Jointed Doll (BJD) personagens do anime Rozen Maiden, a figure foi fabricada pela WAVE Corporation na coleção Dream Tech empresa a qual desconheço - não posso garantir a qualidade de seus produtos -, mas apesar de não ser famosa, pelo menos, nessa figure cumpriu bem seu papel - as fotos encontradas no site de Foobarbaz sempre são bastante reveladoras.

A figure possui 14 cm de altura, estando numa escala de 1/4 (um quarto do tamanho original) ou 1:4 (um para quatro), se levarmos em conta que no anime ela apresenta um valor de tamanho padrão para BJD, por volta dos 60 cm de altura.

E a figure vem com o regador - muito lindo e meigo - para completar só faltava além de conseguir comprar essa figure conseguir também comprar o "gêmeo" de Suiseiseki, Souseiseki - delirei agora pensando nisso ^_^ .
