I det här fullständiga idiotinlägget undrar Katrin om mulliga människor har närmare till tårar än smala peoples. Hon har lagt märke till att Idol-Loulou gråtit några gånger och kom att tänka på Anna Books tårar i Let's Dance och dragit någon slags slutsats att det kanske går att dra alla överviktiga människor över en kam baserat på två vitt skilda människor som setts i svensk teve. Numera utgår jag oftast från att folk är idioter och ändå förvånas jag då och då. Det är en ganska trevlig känsla för det måste bero på att jag inte helt tappat hoppet ändå.

Som jag nyss skrev på annan plats så skulle jag inte ha nåt emot att bli kallad för bögig om jag vore bög. Men uttrycket "lite väl" är liktydigt med "i mesta laget", d.v.s. "för mycket". Visst har bögar i alla tider blivit utsatta för betydligt grövre kränkningar än det här larvet, men själva sammanhanget gör att det ändå liknar ankskit. Och även om det inte platsar under lagparagrafen så tycker jag ändå att det har en touche av hets mot folkgrupp, ett ideologiskt släktskap om man så vill. Andra queerbloggare har skrivit så bra om det här, till exempel Bimbo Boy och BippoQueer så det får räcka så här för min del. I sammanhanget tycker jag det passar bra att citera en passus ur The Queer Nation Manifesto med uppföranderegler för heteron, i första hand när de besöker queera etablissemang men tillämpligt i många sammanhang:

1. Keep your displays of affection (kissing, handholding, embracing) to a minimum. Your sexuality is unwanted and offensive to many here.

This week we're faced with the prospect of a damn good sock-rocking. Will the contestants rock our socks off, or will they remain firmly upon our sweaty Sunday feet? All hail The Rock. The night starts off a little rocky, with the audience mics (or the fake audience sounds) fading in and out during the opening credits.

Apparently, the tutors for this week will be INXS. Nice. There are a few pretty awesome INXS songs, so yeah, looking forward to this and to whatever else the contestants choose to sing. Kirk Pengilly will be joining the judging panel, and he and Tim Farriss did the teaching stuff.

Luke is singing 'Are You Gonna Go My Way', which is a pretty good song, I must admit. Killer riff. Killer. I went through a short Lenny Kravitz phase a few years ago - short because he only has around 4 good songs. So anyway, Luke does his thing. Not better or worse than any of his other performances, just... yeah. Luke. He's been consistent, but I still can't figure out if he's consistently good or consistently bad. Dicko still wants Luke to explore the sweeter side of his voice. Marcia thinks it was the best opener we could wish for for rock night. Kirk was happy, and Kyle is worried about Motown week (Yesss! Motown week!). Andrew does some Motown dancing, and it's the best thing ever.

The microphones are turned off again as we come back from the break. Get it together, sound people!

Thanh is doing some song by Linkin Park. Kayyy... It's called 'Shadow of the Day'. Never heard of it. He starts at the piano, but I can't hear it at all. At all. Why is he even sitting at it? It's a really shit song, too. Boring. Marcia was noivuss. Rightly so, I think. Kirk says it was good. Kyle is with me; Thanh seems to be back to his boring old tricks. Kyle doesn't know what's missing; Dicko does. Thanh thinks too much, without feeling it. Oh, by the way; Kirk cares.

Sophie is doing Anna's Songor something, and she already sounds cringeworthy in rehearsals. Ugh. I really don't like her voice. Didn't like her performance at all. The judges sa - yawwwnnnnn. Next!

Teale picked some song by the Goo Goo Dolls and yeah, his taste in music is the ultimate in blandness. The only song that's been remotely rock so far was Luke's Are You Gonna Go My Way. Teale kinda sounded like a woman for a bit. This song is shite. Kyle says it was a reeeasonable job. Dicko says he's dependable and possibly tedious. Aaanyway, I don't like Teale, never have. James nearly smashes Teale's guitar on the ground and I really wish he did.

I went to get a drink so I have no idea what Roshani is singing. Whatever it is, it ain't good. All the judges like her, although Kirk jokes that it was crap. I'm with his joke. I just had no idea what song she was singhing.

Wes is doing some song by U2 called Desire. Why isn't anyone doing actual rock songs? Why?! During rehearsals, Wes and Johnny Foreman were doing the song with just a tambourine and really simple piano, and it sounded awesome. However, the actual performance is a big pop-rock-country thing and it kinda sucks. INXS told him to explore the softer side of his voice during the teach, but he seems to have forgotten that entirely. I didn't like his performance. The judges fawn all over his golden-brown locks.

Chrislyn chose some No Doubt song. Ohh, it's Don't Speak. She sings it very well, but it doesn't blow me away. I was blown away by the fact that she was in the bottom 3 last week. Some of the judges are critical, Marcia is all emotional, but in the end I guess it wasn't a redemptive performance. If she was cruising in the middle of the pack, it probably would have been ok, but she's not - she was in the bottom 3. Could be a problem.

Mark Spano is last, and he's doing Sex On Fire by Kings Of Leon. I wish he'd done one of their earlier songs, but hey I'm not complaining. The teachy rehearsal bit sounds pretty good, so yeah. Should be a good performance. I caught a glimpse of the background singers doing some really weird dancing in the background. Anyway, the whole thing has a very artificial air - the house band really can't ever manage to sound authentic at all, and it's a shame. Mark is a good singer, but it came nowhere near the original song. Nowhere near. The judges are very lewd and such and I refuse to repeat it here. Moist vaginas.

So, on that note we bid farewell to Rock Night, as it fades into the bourbon-soaked distance. Byebye!

This is the home of suchsublime and cerebral entertainment as Big Brother, Australian Idol, Neighbours and Rove Live. Occasionally, they broadcast something of merit, such as re-runs of The Simpsons, but it's the exception rather than the rule.

It seems, though, that in an effort to out-do its rivals (of which it only has two anyway- Channel 7 and Channel 9) it has indulged in some subliminal advertising during the 2007 Aria Awards. Now, advertising of this sort, because it is not clearly demarcated as a commercial message nor is it consciously consumed, is illegal in Australia. And pretty much everywhere else in the world.

The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) reviewed the material and found the "rapid-cut graphics used in the program was a technique that attempted to convey information to viewers below or near the threshold of normal awareness".

Network Ten quite lamely that the the rapid-cut graphics were intended to be creatively consistent with the fast-paced look and feel of the music presentations. Right. And Tyler Durden from Fight Club inter-cutting single frames of hardcore pornography into Disney movies like Aladdin and The Lion King was really all about heightening the sensuality of the film's aesthetic.

But it seems that while the ACMA has found Network Ten guilty of breaching the Commercial Television Industry Code of Practice during the broadcast of the 2007 ARIA Music Awards on October 28...No penalty will be issued. Not surprising really when you consider who owns Network Ten. Yes, that's right. Our most financially solvent and morally bankrupt home-grown hero...Rupert Murdoch!!

Network Ten received a strongely worded caution and were warned not to use the same technique during the upcoming 2008 Aria Awards on October 18. That'll teach 'em.

]]> <![CDATA[Hon är inte homofobisk, bara korkad]]> http://bippoqueer.wordpress.com/?p=882 Sat, 11 Oct 2008 18:05:49 +0000 BippoQueer http://bippoqueer.bg.wordpress.com/2008/10/11/hon-ar-inte-homofobisk-bara-korkad/ Ja, jag menar såklart den där blatteaktiga Katrin Zytomierska, programledare i Idol Eftersnack på TV400. Flera tidningar och många bloggare har uppmärksammat ett av alla Katrins många korkade uttalanden från programmet igår, i vilket hon antydde att anledningen till att Jesper blev utrustad från Idoltävlingen var för att han skulle vara bögig.

Jag har läst Katrins försvarstal mot dagens reaktioner inne på Idolbloggen, men blir inte ett dugg klokare. Jag kan inte begripa att hon inte förstår att hon befinner i ett läge där hon skulle vara mer förtjänt av att be om ursäkt, duktigt ge efter för kritiken och lova bättra sig till kommande fredag (om det nu blir någon). Och vi fattar väl allihopa att hon inte är homofobisk, vilket hon själv idag även poängterar, men det här visar ju bara hur korkad hon är. Katrin borde istället för att enträget hävda sin rätt tona ner sig lite, och inte ge sig själv så stor plats i rutan, om hon nu vill ha kvar sitt jobb.

Katrin har nämligen inte fått sitt värdelösa TV-jobb för att visa upp sin egen attityd eller sig själv, utan är där för att intervjua de som är med i Idol. Man intervjuar inte genom att förnedra eller förlöjliga, och att det här var premiärsändningen och hennes egen direktsändningsdebut kan väl ursäkta en del, men inte hennes efterföljande agerande. Hon påvisar inte ens tillstymmelse till självkritik, utan fortsätter att vara lika korkad.

Hon är helt enkelt fel person på fel skitjobb.

Min förkylning har blommat upp igen, och här sitter jag och snorar (förlåt för er som är lite känsliga).
Igår hade jag en underbar dag, skolan var mycket bra som vanligt även om jag var mycket trött, men jag fick också analyserat en del människor.
På kvällen: Jag Jessi och Alexandra ”fira” att vi snart fyller 16 år (inte är det någon ålder men i alla fall). Fira kan man inte heller kalla de, då vi först åt en god pastasallad hos mig (receptet kommer i nästa inlägg) och gick sedan hem till Jessi för att mysa och se på Idol. Först satt vi inne på Jessis rum och åt nötter(naturgodis) och pratade och många spärrar släppte och vi blev mycket öppna mot varan och det var mycket skönt. När väl idol började hade vi också mycket mysigt diskutera vad vi tyckte om de tävlande och sjöng med i en del låtar. Så det blev en mycket lyckad tjej kväll.
Ikväll skall jag på medeltidsfest med min teater förening. Det skall bli mycket intressant att se hur det blir, men jag hoppas självklart på att det skall bli kul och det tror jag nog att det blir. Men till dess skall jag bara ta det lugnt och vila ut lite, ty jag känner mig ju inte riktigt kry.


fet tonårs hy?


Ni som läst min blogg under en längre tid vet att jag för ett tag sedan skrev om Visibly CLEAR Blackhead Eliminatring toner(ansiktsvatten)och att jag tyckte att den var bra men lite för stark för min känsliga hy. Så nu för en vecka sedan köpte jag Visibly CLEAR Blackhead Eliminatring Daily Scrub(ansiktstvål) båda är ifrån Neutrogena.
Daily scrub passar mig bättre då den inte är lika stark och inte torkar ut huden lika mycket, men den tar ändå bort onödigt fett från huden och ger en ren och fräsch känsla. Eftersom att den inte trokar ut huden så blidas inte heller några ”skydds fetter” som man annars lätt får efter en timma eller två. Nackdelen är kanske att det tar lite längre tid att tvätta sig med denna få man behöver böja sig ner över handfatet och skrubba och skölja, medans man med ansiktsvattnet bara behöver ”stryka” på.
Så för dig som vill ha en ren och fräsch hy tipsar jag starkt om Neutrogenas ansiktsprodukter för fet tonårs hy.

Det blev som jag trodde, att Jesper och Yazmina hängde löst. Men vad jag inte förstår är att Sepideh hängde löst, men sen satt säkert. Hon borde alltid sitta säkert, för hon är en helt fantastisk sångerska, har ni inte förstått det än? Man kan inte rösta ut henne nu i början. Hon är som förra årets Marie, dom är ungefär lika bra, med starka otroliga röster. Och Marie vann, så inte ska Sepideh hänga löst då.
Nåja, tillbaka till utröstningen. Det blev Jesper som fick lämna Idol tillslut, vilket inte var mer än rätt. Han har varit den som varit sämst hela förra veckan, så det var inte mer än rätt att han åkte som första person. Vi slipper ju en Idol2006-Johan grej. Han var klart sämre än alla andra, och ändå blev han trea. Det är fel, men nu slipper vi det i Idol2008.

Kul med dansare, bara dom inte tar över scenen bara. Det är ju Idolerna som ska stå i fokus, inte dansarna.

Kevin Borg - Natalie: Visste ju inte riktigt vad jag skulle tro om det här, men det blev ju jättebra! Han gör den bra, och det känns inte alls konstigt att det inte är Ola som gör den. Han är verkligen en av dom bästa sångarna i tävlingen, inget snack om saken!

Loulou Lamotte - Hurt: Nej, vad är det som händer? Det är ju falskt överallt! Det här trodde jag inte om henne, hon har ju inte sjungt en falsk ton förut. Bara hon inte åker ut pga den här missen, för vi vet ju alla att hon kan betydligt mycket bättre.

Robin Bengtsson - Mercy: Jag trodde aldrig att det här skulle gå, men det blev ju riktigt bra! Han är tonsäker och gör sitt bästa framträdande hittills! Röra på sig sa han att han skulle, men inte var det mycket, från ett micstativ till ett annat. Han skulle ha skippat ett av dom.

Yazmina Simic - Don't stop the music: Juryn sa att hon hade tagit ett stort steg framåt, jag säger att hon tog ett elefantkliv bakåt. Det var ju jättefalskt, hörde dom inte det?! Det var falskare än vad Loulou sjöng, och det var inte bra. Inga toner sitter, och hon försöker inte ens ta i. Falskt och monotont var det...

Lars Eriksson - You're beautiful: Ta gärna i, men sjung inte i falsett, för det låter gräsligt! Halva framträdandet var bra och halva dåligt. Men han ska nog egentligen sjunga egenskriven musik, inte andras.

Alice Svensson - These words: Riktigt bra framträdande! Hon rör sig bra, hon har scennärvaro, hon har koll på alla kamerorna och hon sjunger fantastiskt! Håller ändå med Anders om att hon gärna få ta fram lite kaxighet.

Jesper Blomberg - So sick: Helt dåligt är det väl inte, men bra är det ju inte heller. falskt även här, men han är ju faktiskt bland dom sämsta i tävlingen. Låter röstmässigt lite som Danny när han sjöng samma låt. Men Danny var betydligt bättre.

Sepideh Vaziri - I kissed a girl: Hon har en stark och bra röst som vi redan vet. Men i sticket när hon sjunger varannan ton väldigt mörkt och nästa väldigt starkt och högt så låter det inte så bra. men hongör ett starkt framträdande och äger scenen. Håller faktiskt med Andreas om att hon har sjungit, röstmässigt, bättre tidigare.

Johan Palm - Viva la vida: han ser fruktansvärt osäker och nervös ut, och jag tycker inte att sången är bra. Bra har den väl aldrig varit, men sämre än tidigare. Han gör ett väldigt svagt intryck, vilket är olikt honom.

Anna Bergendahl - Release me: Det blir en helt ny låt när hon gör den, rösten gör så himla mycket. men hon gör den ju jättebra!

Robin Ericsson - It's my life: Låten i sig känns lite tråkig, framträdandet känns tråkigt och han gör inte låten mindre tråkig heller. Tråkigt men sant. Ett tråkigt framträdande, fast med en bra och stark röst. Ändå är det inte helt perfekt.

Bäst ikväll: Alice.
Riktigt bra ikväll: Kevin och RobinB.
Sämst ikväll: Yazmina.
Kvällens citat: Tyckte ingen sa nå direkt roligt eller minnesvärt.

Ska man sammanfatta kvällen med ett ord skulle jag säga småfalsk. Jag tror nästan alla sjöng falskt på något ställe, vissa mer än andra. Dom enda som var falskfria tror jag var Kevin och Alice. Känns lite tokigt med tanke på att det är på riktigt nu, Idolallvaret har verkligen börjat nu. Och så inleds det med att nästan alla sjunger falskt. Inte kul. Men samtidigt känns det ganska bra, för dom som var bra ikväll var verkligen jättebra!

Vem ska vi gissa på åker ut då? Tror faktiskt det är Jespers tur nu. Vi har trott det länge, men ikväll tror jag inte han kan klara sig längre. Sunt câteva domenii din care ne alegem idolii.

Însă întotdeauna oamenii care ne sunt modele au cusururi, şi de cele mai multe ori oamenii la care ne uităm şi aşteptăm să ne suprindă falimentează în multe domenii ale vieţii: căsnicie, relaţii extraconjugale, avorturi, trădări, beţii, dependenţe de droguri şi alte lucruri de genul acesta. Acestea sunt modelele de care noi avem nevoie?

7 şi dă-te pe tine însuţi pildă de fapte bune, în toate privinţele.

1. Dă-te pe tine însuţi pildă. Pavel îl sfătuieşte pe Tit, ca un lucru necesar (obligatoriu), ştiind de nevoia aceasta a tânărului, ca el însuşi să fie un model. Obişnuim atunci când vorbim de modele să dăm exemple de oameni mari sau oameni mari ai credinţei din Biblie însă cred că Biblia cere ca noi înşine să fim modele.

2. ... de fapte bune. În altă ordine de idei, tinerii nu au nevoie de modele, oameni care nu fac nimic ci din contră, oameni care au ceva într-adevăr de arătat, în lucruri practice. Modelul pe care noi trebuie să-l oferim este acela de a fi pilde prin faptele bune. Nu e nevoie de multă vorbărie.

This all began several months ago with me having a simple idea after being inspired by David and his music to go out and volunteer and then share my experience with others. So one day a few months back I went to a local shelter here in my hometown and volunteered, I helped serve lunch and just sat and talked with some of the people there. It was a little overwhelming, there are so many people out there that don't have anything, not even a hot meal. It reminded me so much of when David sang "Another Day In Paradise," I spoke with the lady in charge and she told me that they have been short on volunteers this year and it has been difficult for them. That was it, the fire had been lit. I wanted to do something big. We have posted several times about this project and each time I am overwhelmed at the support and positive responses that I have received. It has grown into something even more amazing than I could have ever dreamed.

We all (including me) talk about what all David has done for us, inspired us, gave us hope, got us writing music, made us feel again, everything, and although we say it over and over how much it means to us I started thinking about how I could ever repay him. Well, I have been lucky enough to have been a part of some amazing projects and gifts involving David such as SU2C, helping out with group gifts, signing group thank yous' and scrapbooks, and lets not forget the "David is My Hero," book, that is really what did it for me, it took me a week to write my story but once I did it felt so amazing. But I still can't help but feel that there is something more that we could do. I know how blessed I am now and yes a lot of it has to do with David and the message of hope and inspiration that so many of us feel through him and his music. I want to share that feeling with others, so I came up with the Archie Pay it Forward Project. Basically it is simple, David has helped all of us in one way or another by touching our lives in a positive way; so in return we should do the same.
