It's been a while since I worked on this campaign setting. Since I last uploaded it to the net, the webstorage account as vanished. Links to the PDF in previous posts are now invalid. Now that I've "jump-shipped" from Blogger to Wordpress, I've now got a box.net account. I've also been toying with the idea of converting the setting to the Savage Worlds ruleset. The converted version would be set in a possible future of the setting, detailing the apocalyptic aftermath of a four-way war between the Darkers, the Colonial Alliance, the Western Union and the Pacific Accord. Tentative title would be Salvaged Worlds.

hey we started to editing the monse event video's (i remember i was hear some others people saying "it was the party of the year" and it was true! the party and everything was fenomenal) we film it with 2 cams and some parts with an HDV cam this is just a little bit our work....enjoy it a lot like our! we love videography with a cinematography touch...

Diablo III

Sim, pensei seriamente em falar sobre o Diablo III, jogo que a Blizzard acabou de anunciar no 2008 Worldwide Invitational, mas realizei que isso não seria muito construtivo, já que o Sedentário & Hiperativo, o Brainstorm #9, o Save Game, além de uns 99,99% dos sites de video game do universo estão falando disso. De qualquer forma, se você não viu os 19 minutos de gameplay - que por incrível que pareça são incríveis - e o teaser, veja!

Xi, acabei falando do jogo. Agora é tarde demais, vou continuar.

Pouco foi aberto sobre o jogo. Duas classes - de cinco - foram reveladas: o velho bárbaro e o novo "witch doctor", que mais parece um xamã pra mim. Não gostei muito do fato do bárbaro atual ser muito mais velho que o bárbaro do Diablo II. Todas as classes vão ter versões masculinas e femininas segundo a produtora. Uma coisa que me chamou atenção é que a maioria dos objetos do jogo são quebráveis: se você jogar uma bola de fogo perto de uma mesa, ela vai explodir!

Além dos objetos, várias paredes e coisas do tipo são quebráveis. Em uma parte do gameplay aparece o bárbaro batendo numa parede, ela quebra e esmaga um monte de zumbis que estavam nas proximidades. Por falar nisso, a física do jogo é bem realista: quando você dá um ataque muito forte num zumbi, ele voa muito longe! Quando você joga uma bola de fogo em alguma coisa leve e quebrável, os pedaços voam tão alto que parece que vai bater no vidro do monitor!

Esse jogo realmente me impressionou - e eu acho que todos os nerds do mundo - tanto que me fez ter vontade de comprar uma placa de vídeo nova para poder rodar o jogo - que parece ser bem pesadinho, já que tudo é 3d. A Blizzard não revelou a data de lançamento e disse que prefere não revelar a data por que não tem como prever: eles querem deixar o jogo o mais polido possível. Meu chute é que o jogo seja lançado no natal do ano que vem ou nas férias - americanas - de 2010. O negócio é esperar sentadinho.

Quando à estória, é a continuação do Diablo II, claro. Diablo ressurgiu denovo e parece que cabe a nós resolver o problema. Aparentemente esse jogo é o final de uma trilogia que eu quero jogar!

Curiosidade sobre o blogueiro que vos fala: Eu era viciadíssimo em Diablo, virava noites jogando com um primo meu. O Diablo II não joguei tanto - até por que o meu computador não rodava o jogo, quando ganhei um que rodava o jogo já era velho. Diablo III promete e eu quero que faça parte da minha coleção!

Leider ist der Trailer auf Koreanisch :(

Bei Huxley handelt es um einen First-Person-Shooter, das als MMO funktioniert, wie z.B. PlanetSide.
Das Grafikgerüst von Huxley basiert auf der Unreal Engine 3 und man darf darauf gespannt sein.

So...i played in PREIST HOLMES celebrity BASKETBALL GAME this weekend...and even being out of "GAME" SHAPE...i put up a respectable 10 points, and 4 rebounds....i also performed at the 210 customs summer bash at live oak civic centre, and then TORE DOWN the after party at club rio!!!
got up with JUICE,a phoenix, AZ' MC signed to BLACK WALlSTREET...........cool cat...def. gonna get it in with him in the future and collab

as for, my next release everyone keeps asking about "XANAX 2: The Overdose" ...it is coming...i know im taking my sweet ass time and keep pushing it back...BUT I feel the need to GO BIG with this here....
and shipes just keeps sending me more and more tracks for it.....CRAZY TRACKS....some of the illest production i have heard in years. so i am re-directing the feel of it....its almost like directing a FILM. YOU shoot the principle scenes...you edit it....then realize it needs a few extra scenes filmed...and maybe even a better put together climax and ending...you even re write some of the script...and change the camera angles a bit.

i want this to feel like you took the script to the movie "FOREST GUMP" and let Quentin Tarantino re-write it and re-cast it.....imagine JOHN TRAVOLTA as FORREST, and Ving Rhames as Benjamin "BUBBA" Blue.....and Samuel L JAckson playing LT.DAN.....okay...im trippin...but you get the point.....

im taking something that was already considered well put together (XANAX 1) and im re-creating it and adding more special effects................more feeling

Xanax 2 will be my CARTER 2.....my BLUEPRINT......

It's Doomsday...

I finally got to see CT's "Doomsday Machine," and I shall post my thoughts, but before I do I'd like to just go back and to what I wrote of the first installment: "The Oozing Skull"

"The Oozing Skull"

What can I say, it IS the closest thing I have seen to the original show vibe, particularly amongst the uprising of interest to bring the concept back. Rifftrax, The Film Crew, The 'Bots Are Back.....Cinematic Titanic is what we've been waiting for!

The riffing has very much a "Joel era" feel. It's funny, silly, cute, and sometimes downright puny! I would go so far as to say a family friendly venture, much more then The Film Crew and Rifftrax for sure. Joel was not lying when he called it "gentle riffing." And speaking of Joel, he and the gang seem like they are really getting back into the swing of things, shrouded in a new kind of Shadowrama, they seem to fit well on the side of the screen rather then the theater seating we were used to. I have no problem adjusting myself to it, though my TV does. No matter, doesn't hurt the enjoyment one bit!

My favorite riffers, in just the way they were in this installment, are probably Joel, Trace and Josh.

The movie was prefect, just the right blend of crap and fun, without making it just crap! Enjoyably bad!

The downside?

No premise, to explanation, "in between" segments were forgettable to okay. (The "Visitor" seemed to have no point, and the first segment with the throwing up trumpet legend was just a little pitiful.) I'll give it to them for knowing their strength at least. They spent very little time with this stuff and stuck mostly to their fun'n the movie.

All and all, it was a great first CT. The next is coming out sometime in February by all accounts, so look forward to that one. I wish I could say I'll be renting it, but as of now I must buy. Ah, well, I can deal with that. So far so good.

Now to the present: "Doomsday Machine."

It was sort of a disappointment, I'm not beating 'bout the bush with this. I found it far from good, far from passing. The riffs were their strongest at the very beginning, before the setting changed to outer space in the "movie," after that it felt as though they were just throwing comments at the screen, good, bad, or indifferent, they just said anything. It all seemed at times too rushed, like they were in a hurry not to repeat the tedious wait as last time, trying to get on a schedule more then getting out good quality.

The movie was, well, almost too bad. See, when a movie is bad like, "Manos" bad, they're is just SO much bad, it's funny. But "Doomsday," it got into it to a formula and almost stayed there for the whole "movie." Towards the end, it was like going blank, coming to, and it was a totally different "movie." It almost came to a full stop, the pace slowing down so unbearably, even our riffers sort of gave up. But it wasn't fun, just boring as hell and you felt relief with the end in sight.

The host segments, I'm starting to believe they're just aren't any. "Oozing Skull" didn't leave me with a very optimistic outlook, and this was worse. The first one was annoying, the second one was dull, and the third, did the third even happen?

Lastly, what people bitched about last time, a premise. Granted it's always nice to have a firm foundation, gving the thing depth and structure, albeit "goofy" like mst3k, but it's a nice fuzzy sort of familiarity you build with. CT stated, premisless. (I can't say I've minded it with returned viewing.) This time they tried to fit something in the very beginning, and it's really hard to say what that is. Mostly, they made reference to the past, but it was vague and overall they may as well have forgotten ii. I did.

It had potential, it did. But the gang just wasn't there. Maybe doing three at a time is not the best, maybe a preview audience, and time to polish was the best recipe. Whatever, it just didn't work for me this time.

Hopefully, we'll see better the third time around.

Later Notes: After second viewing, I guess I can ease my review by saying at least half of "Doomsday Machine" is alright, not as good still as "Oozing Skull," but better the next watch around.
