The 1.1 dictionary is now out the window due to heavy usage of british slang and british speelings of words

So now we are back to the 1.0 dictionary... but that means we also get back the biggest flaw...

Correct words are NOT alphabetical so there is no more help in finding words that you may have missed...

This is truly unfortunate because it was the biggest improvement to the 1.0 version and the reason I bought the game.

Do NOT update to 1.2. I'd rather have odd british words and spellings than have no clue at what word i'm missing.

Do you want 1.1 back? Here's how to do it on your Mac:
Open Itunes and go to Applications
Find Sextuple Word Challenge and delete it
On the prompt click to Move the files to trash (don't worry this is only deleting the 1.2 version and you can always redownload it)
Now open Finder and go to Music/Itunes/Mobile Applications
In Mobile Applications find "challenge.ipa" (ipa = IPhone/IPod Application)
Now you may have multiple copies but that's ok. Itunes downloads new copies and does NOT replace your older files.
So drag Challenge.ipa into Itunes
If you are unsure if it's the right version you can right click and in the info screen you will see the version.

This works for ALL apps too. So you never have to worry about getting stuck with a version you don't like

Revoyons les faits.  Le 22 avril 2002, la gardienne des enfants du couple composé de Martin Brossard et de Liliane de Montigny, se rend au domicile familial, de la rue Booker, à Brossard.  Elle y voit le corps de Martin, balançant au bout d'une corde, dans le salon.  Les policiers, appelés sur place, découvrent les corps de Liliane, étranglée dans une chambre, et des deux fillettes du couple, Claudia, 4 ans, et Béatrice, 18 mois, noyées dans la baignoire.  L'article révèle que plus tard, des membres de la famille de Liliane, soit son père Marcel, et ses soeurs Karen et Sandra, logeaient une poursuite de 730,000$ contre la succession de Martin Brossard pour dommages, souffrances pour eux et les victimes, et les frais funéraires.  Suite à la décision de la Cour supérieure, de leur octroyer 70,000$, les poursuivants en ont appelé, parce que le jugement ne condamnaient la succession ni à des dommages punitifs, ni pour les souffrances infligées aux victimes, ni au paiement des frais funéraires, selon ce que rapporte l'article.

La seule décision que la Cour d'appel a modifié, par rapport au jugement original de la Cour supérieure, c'est l'allocation d'une somme supplémentaire de 11,102$, pour les frais funéraires.  L'article résume les raisons évoquées par la Cour d'appel, dans son jugement.

Pour ma part, je suis porté à dire qu'il s'agit là d'un jugement dangereux.  À mes yeux, les événements n'impliquaient que Martin Brossard, son épouse et ses enfants.  Compte tenu que Brossard était majeur, et que rien n'indique qu'il n'était pas sain d'esprit, au moment des événements, je ne vois pas en quoi la succession de Brossard aurait à payer quelque somme que ce soit à des membres de la famille de Liliane.  À moins, évidemment, que les membres de la succession de Brossard, visés par la poursuite, aient eu un quelconque lien avec les gestes.  S'il était prouvé, par exemple, que Martin avait subi des pressions, de la part de ces personnes, pressions qui auraient pu déboucher sur les événements tragiques.  Sinon, pourquoi poursuivre la succession de Martin Brossard?

Bien sûr, on ne connaît pas toute l'histoire.  Est-ce que des discussions, entre les deux familles, se seraient soldées par une discorde, au niveau des frais funéraires?  Est-ce que le famille de Martin Brossard a fait preuve de mépris, de suffisance, ou d'autres types de comportements reprochables, envers celle de Liliane de Montigny?  Est-ce à croire, d'un autre côté, que la famille de Brossard n'a subi aucun préjudice, n'a vécu aucune souffrance, suite à ces événements?  Le cas échéant, pourquoi ne poursuivent-ils pas à leur tour?

Malgré mon respect pour les deux familles en cause, ici, je persiste à croire que ce genre de jugement ouvre toute grande la porte à beaucoup d'abus.  Imaginez, vous pourriez être poursuivis parce que votre fils de 18 ans ou plus, ou votre frère, majeur, a commis un geste disgracieux envers quelqu'un.  Il me semble qu'un adulte est le seul responsable de ses propres gestes, et que l'on peut poursuivre les membres de la famille d'un individu jugé coupable dans le seul cas où celui-ci est mineur, ou encore lorsqu'il est prouvé qu'il n'est pas responsable de ses gestes.  Qu'on me corrige si j'ai tort, mais un tel jugement pourrait faire en sorte que toute victime d'un vol, d'une agression sexuelle, ou d'un autre crime, pourrait poursuivre la famille du prévenu, une fois celui-ci trouvé coupable.  Cela fait en sorte que l'on pourrait même être poursuivi en justice, suite à des gestes commis par des membres de sa famille, et ce même si l'on a pas de contacts directs avec ceux-ci.

Un jugement dangereux, à mes yeux.

Cette section de l'article m'a été inspirée par Richard3, qui a fait un un autre article avec des photos de ce que je vais parler, et de d'autre choses dans la région de Joliette. Maintenant, parlons de la sortie.

Voici une image de Google Earth où l'on voit le lieu de la sortie avant que des rues se construisent vers le parc industriel, ainsi que la sorite. Encadrée en rouge, on voit bien les instalations de l'ancienne halte routière. Selon Google Earth, celle en direction sud est encore en service(quellequ'un pourrait m'éclairer la-dessus?).

Alright, here goes. First of all, it is very exciting for me to publish my thoughts here and to allow wide auditory to access my post. Respectively, it's good and I feel exhilarating about.

Recently I was advised to watch russian director Nikita Mikhalkov most recent movie called 12. To be honest, my attitude to Russian movie business is abhor as they have failed to produce any movie (since Tarkovsky) that would be worth watching. Therefore, as I was advised to watch, this idea hardly survived in my head, 'cause it was lots of things to do during summer and my attitude also played major role. However one rainy summer day I felt bored and was looking for a possibility to entertain myself. Then, suddenly, I remembered about that recent advise and decided to watch this particular movie. My motivation was: I am going to lose this time one way or another, so the worst what would happen after seeing this movie would be 3h lost.

Right, let's procede to the movie itself. First of all, it's requires concentration and open mind. Because of the things described and shown there big auditory finds it boring and not worth watching. So, if you made some supply of patiency and are ready to perceive information - chop in. Action takes place in the old school sports facility and obviously it makes kind of squeezed feeling, because all the action of the movie is held there. Movie is about court procession, where some young boy from Chechnya is judged for his father (who adopted him and is Russian) killing. At the beggining it seems like ordinary drama or psychological movie but the attitude changes as movie continues. The director wanted to show us how people (obviously all of us) are acting during our daily routine. The point is - most of us don't even pay the attention to others. We're acting like we're supposed to be - showing no feelings, no attitude, no personal decisions - only those system defined for us. But we are capable of all of these things. In a movie - first decision of courtmen are - GUILTY. But it took only one man to disagree to show others that it is not that simple and that it asks for more attention. I was very surprised because I saw myself and many known people as we were those courtmen. You see, our lifes are so dynamic that sometimes we let various events to pass by, we make decisions more concerned about our time-table than about the results of those decisions. Hopefully, there are such people as Nikita Mikhalkov, who are showing us the true meaning of why we are here, why we do what we do and what impact it can cause on the people nearby. The point that I've perceived and understood is - we must look deep inside of us, look outside the box and be opened more often. We must not close ourselves to the world and act by the rules. We're not machines having instructions and manuals, we are smart and capable creatures (sorry, if I've insulted someone).

This could be applied to any field of our lifes if you wish to. For example, let's take relationship between people. I am sure that any reader of this post had some connection or was a participant in a relationship between two people. Now let's look at the actions and decisions we (mainly males) are making. We try to hold our belowed ones as close to us as possible, doing everything possible and not to achieve this. It is like a rule in our brains that pushes us to do so. And that's where problems start to appear. You see, there never would be any pleasure in routine. Hence, doing something by the rules/plans/what not will lead a beauty to disappear, love to vanish and would bring us to decoy and despair. Furthermore, we never blame ourselves (sorry for such a summarization) for what we did and we continue to do and act in such a way. And even after various failures we still do not realize what's wrong, what we're doing wrong, why....

We must not try to find the meaning of routine, still we need to understand out life meanings. So when do we begin? :)

REVENGE Mode is basically the "Overdrive" or "Star Power" of TTR and gives you a an 8x multiplier! Let's blame this slip on no update notes and the fact that it is 5am

Lot's of people raving about this new video by Ssion. Cody Critcheloe's writing and directing has really taken sharp turns, making unexpected but senseful decisions. I know when TPR interviewed them earlier this year, Cody seemed very comfortable among his extra-bohemian bandmates, speaking eloquently about his current incarnation and his vision for the band. Make no mistake, Ssion is his baby, and it's growing up to be quite the queer heavyweight. ANYWAY, the big news for me was not the above music video, but his new cover of Young Marble Giants by-way-of Hole's "Credit in The Straight World." Be on the look out for the new Street Jizz 12" out on September 1st (on Chicago's very own Sleazetone) with remixes by Norrit, Nick Zinner (of Yeah Yeah Yeahs) and Hawnay Troof.

Bir ülkede büyük boyutlu enerji üretimi, iletimi ve dağıtımı ancak tekel ya da oligopol piyasasında yapılır. Piyasanın rekabetten uzaklaşan bu yapısı nedeniyle de devletler tüketiciyi korumak için enerji piyasasına müdahale etmek zorunda kalırlar. Aksi takdirde enerjide hem arz güvenliği sağlanamaz hem de üretici ve dağıtıcı şirketler enerjiye bedelinin çok üzerinde bir fiyat koyarak tüketiciyi sömürürler.

Bu yüzden Türkiye, Enerji Piyasası Denetleme ve Düzenleme Kurumu (EPDK) gibi bir yapıya sahip ülkeler arasında yer alıyor. Ama böyle bir düzenleyici kurum bulunmasına rağmen Türkiye’de enerji fiyatları tüketiciyi korumuyor. Aksine ülkede enerji fiyatları üreticinin aşırı kâr elde etmesini sağlayacak şekilde belirleniyor. Elektrik, doğalgaz, LPG, motorin ve LNG bayilerde maliyetlerinin çok üzerinde fiyatlanarak vatandaşa satılıyor.

Bu haksız durumu açıkça görmek için enerji ürünlerinden sadece bir tanesini ele alıp maliyet ve fiyat analizi yapabiliriz. Vatandaşın tüpgaz olarak isimlendirdiği ve çoğunlukla mutfakta kullandığı 12 kilogramlık LPG tüplerinin fiyatını bir inceleyelim.
LPG’nin 12 kilogramı TÜPRAŞ’tan 12 YTL 88 kuruşa alınıyor. Tüketiciye tüplü olarak bayide 47 YTL’ye satılıyor. Yani tüketici bu ürünü maliyetinin 4 katına satın alıyor.
Peki, maliyetin dört katını bulan bu fiyata nasıl ulaşılıyor? Önce TÜPRAŞ’tan çıkış fiyatı 12 YTL 88 kuruş olan ürünün üzerine 11 YTL 16 kuruş Özel Tüketim Vergisi ekleniyor. Ardından bu fiyata 4 YTL 33 kuruş Katma Değer Vergisi ilave ediliyor. Bayi ve şirket kâr payı olarak da 18 YTL 59 kuruş alınınca 12 kilogramlık LPG tüpü 47 YTL fiyatla tüketiciye satılıyor.
Dikkat ederseniz, 12 kilogramlık LPG tüpünde maliyet ve dolaylı vergiler toplamı üzerinden kâr oranı yüzde 65’e ulaşıyor.
Böyle bir kâr oranı ahlaki olabilir mi? Olamaz. Çünkü yüzde 65 kâr elde etmek rekabet koşullarında işleyen bir piyasa ekonomisinde kabul edilemez. Edilirse zaten o, rekabetin olduğu bir piyasa olmaktan çıkar. Böyle bir kâr ancak eksik rekabet piyasalarında yaşanabilir.
Bu eksik rekabeti tam rekabete yaklaştırmak ise düzenleyici kurumun görevidir. Bizde ise düzenleyici kurum seyirci kurum haline gelmiş durumda. Bu kadar yüksek sömürü fiyatına izin veriyor.
EPDK vatandaşı korumak için maliyetin yüzde 120’sine ulaşan dolaylı vergileri Maliye Bakanlığı ile görüşüp indirtse, bayii ve şirket kârını da yarısına getirse, 12 kilogramlık LPG tüpü vatandaşa 47 YTL yerine 27 YTL fiyatla satılabilir. Makul olan fiyat da zaten budur.
Ayrıca EPDK enerji maliyetlerini vatandaşa şeffaf olarak duyurmalıdır. Çünkü regüle edilen piyasalarda maliyetler ticari sır olamaz ve vatandaştan saklanamaz. Aksi takdirde vatandaşı sömüren bu enerji fiyatları bir gün sorumlu kamu yöneticilerin sorunu olabilir ve hesap vermelerini gerektirebilir.
